4.5/5 stars overall. Beautiful looking cake! Huge 10” dia cake - they even gave me extra height. Was a Great value- Esp compared to some other gourmet type of cake places (storefront and private home bakers and wedding cake providers), It was so heavy! They didn’t skimp on quantity and quality. Much better than say ordering a boring looking cake from grocery store, and less expensive than some other fancy cake places. I wanted a beautiful high cake really for photo op at this big party and to look great even from afar. Ordered for my parents wedding anniversary (see photo - added my own “50 anniversary” sign on top from Amazon, and displayed on my own cake stand. But the fresh flowers on top and gold hearts were theirs, and they included a separate nice matching gold straight candle too for lighting which was thoughtful). The box it was delivered in was sturdy and easy to unload cake from, and could reuse to take home leftovers in it too. This specific cake design I chose was meant to be admired from say 270 degrees as the flowers and pink drip and gold flecks covered more this viewpoints, but we had people walk around the whole cake too. Free delivery to my event at banquet hall restaurant which was super convenient, as you know can be traffic in GTA and saved me I didn’t have to go pick up on the busy party day of, and delivered on time within 15 min we had said, perfect and much appreciated when I was running around setting up. English communication was a little difficult but fine, very accessible (picked up phone every time I called even tho evening and on weekend, but I personally found it easier to text because language), got quick immediate response and pleasant just had to ask direct short questions. As with most “wedding type cakes” I find usually the cake and filling more dense but I think it’s the nature of these types of cakes (can’t have a spongy or whipped cream type cake when the cake is so high and holds shape so well). I had the strawberry and vanilla filling that had some fresh strawberries and vanilla buttercream - cake and cream quite tasty 4/5 just overall dense 3/5 (but expected) with many layers, not too sweet. I am very impressed from this home bakery. From the moment I placed my order, the whole process was seamless. The owner was easy to reach and always responded promptly, making everything stress-free. Her pricing is very fair, especially considering the level of detail put into each cake. She had packaged the cake VERY WELL, it was so thoughtfully done and kept sturdy through my hour long drive home. The cake looked gorgeous and the taste surpassed that of many high-end bakeries I’ve tried. I'll be happily returning...
