Beautiful sandy beach with clear water and nice serene view. There's a playground as well to keep kids busy. We stumbled upon this beach on our way to Calabogie and so happy we did. It wasn't so busy when we were there as it's cloudy but I bet it gets busy on a hot sunny day. There's a boat launch close by as well. Parking is limited though. Hoping to visit again on a sunny day.

Burnstown Beach is a great stop along Calabogie Rd just before you get to Burnstown corner. There is a great family beach with a new playground and sand to play in. The beach area is buoyed off in the water. There is a washroom facility for summer season. Also a great boat launch. It is easy to miss along the road but it is just before you hit Burnstown corner.

This is the best kept secret for a beach spot I have seen within a 1 hr drive from Ottawa. Went there today. They have lots of free parking, bathrooms, kids play area, soft clean sand, picnic tables for your bbq, canoe launch, not rocky, and a beautiful calm view of the Madawaska river fringed with towering pines. It was sunny, didn’t see any mosquitos, and the river water was soft, calm, weed free, clean and warm. Not far down the road you can get homemade Ice cream, coffee, burgers, fries...

The park and beach seemed to be fine and clean. They have two swings for the special needs but no way for them to be utilized by people with special needs as they are surrounded by large rocks. One of those rocks should be removed to add a ramp for those with special needs to get up to those swings. Otherwise, it's almost pointless to have these types of swings. That's the only reason I rated a four star...

Beautiful sandy beach with 1 playstructure and a small canteen. A hidden gem just shy of an hour from Ottawa. There's also a boat launch.

Dogs are only allowed at the boat launch or on leash, but definitely not in the water. We brought our dog and respectfully kept our distance from the water while our friends enjoyed the beach and their kids the play structure

I'd recommend this beach for...
