We started our experience with Country Heritage Park SO well. We had a wedding there in September 2016 and our first point of contact was Darlene. She was wonderful and helpful and so so responsive. After we signed our contract a different company took over the weddings at CHP and it was absolutely terrible from there on out. It was impossible to get a hold of anyone. We'd have to send half a dozen e-mails just to get a response and even then our very simple questions weren't answered. We went there twice to meet with them - once Mariette was late by over an hour, an the other Elisabeth just didn't show up at all (not great when we had to drive an hour and a half to get there and confirmed the appointment the day before). There was an instance where I finally got one of them (Jo) on the phone to pay our deposit and she said she'd call me back in 10 minutes. Every other '10 minutes' with that team turned into well over two hours, so I said I'd hold on the line. She ended up saying she had to get off the phone and would call me back within 10 minutes. I e-mailed her every hour after that to no response, and finally got an e-mail the next day saying she got busy and would call at some point that day. Absolutely terrible communication.
The venue is nice, but it became such a headache and stress. Every other vendor was so helpful and easy to work with, and the team at CSP cast a giant black shadow over that. When my family was tearing down the venue the night of the wedding, they mentioned that all the vendors were so pleasant and sweet, but Jo was outright rude to the people who stayed to help.
Mariette gave me a summary of our wedding details with the wrong date on it, half of the details wrong, and the wrong groom's name. When I pointed out the errors, she 'revised' it and sent me another document with new errors, despite me correction them myself. My invoice was the same deal. Their team knew nothing about our wedding details, our plan, us as people, nothing - we were simply another dollar to add to their pot. It was the most unpersonalized experience I've ever had.

Read moreWe were married at Country Heritage Park in March 2022 and we could not imagine a more perfect venue for our wedding day! We had an amazing experience working with the staff at Country Heritage Park right from our initial tour. Karri was our event coordinator who we worked closely with, who made our experience finalizing details during a COVID wave so much easier. Karri and her staff were so accommodating in the final weeks leading up to our special day. All of our questions were always answered in a timely manner with thorough responses and Karri and her staff gave us many great ideas on how to set-up the Gambrel barn efficiently and beautifully for our multiple wedding ceremonies. The Gambrel barn is simply beautiful and the bridal suite located conveniently across could not have been more perfect, especially for our quick outfit change from ceremony to ceremony. All of our guests are still raging about how beautiful and unique the venue was and how flawless our day was.
Due to the looming COVID pandemic, we decided to postpone our reception and just move forward with our original wedding ceremonies on our original date. Country Heritage Park was so accommodating to this and gave us no hassle at all regarding this decision. They made our lives so much easier during the craziness that is COVID wedding planning and we absolutely cannot wait for our reception here in a few months.
To say we would recommend Country Heritage Park would be an understatement. Everything came together so wonderfully and we could not be happier. Huge thanks to Karri and the team who care so much about their couples “vision” coming to life and their beautiful venue. We are so excited for July!!

Read moreMy husband and I started our experience with Darlene and it was incredible. SHE was incredible... She was so responsive and was so invested in every couple's special day. The new owners took over, Darlene was let go (or left, I'm not entirely sure) and NO ONE managed her email. I spent three months trying to get an answer from Darlene (calling and emailing) when I finally got so fed up and they told me she was no longer with CHP. NO ONE told the brides/grooms. We were left high and dry.
Them Mariette took over and it really went south from there. She consistently forgot to call back and seemed like she couldn't be bothered to talk with us. She didn't keep an accurate record of details we had spoken about. I had to ask for weeks for a final invoice which had the wrong price and my name spelled incorrectly on it.. I ended up taking notes of our phone calls and sending them to her, as well as correcting my OWN invoice.. I was doing HER job while planning MY wedding.
And! We got married in October, so we figured the final payment would be cashed within the next 2-4 weeks. They didn't try to cash our final payment until CHRISTMAS when we were (obviously) busy celebrating, purchasing gifts for our family etc. They then proceeded to not tell us it hadn't gone through until THREE MONTHS AFTER it didn't process.
This place is so poorly managed now and although the location is stunning, the stress and new price is so not worth it. You will make yourself absolutely crazy trying to do their job while trying to plan your wedding.
