Ever since the Covid pandemic started, many of Montreal's churches have taken to closing their doors for a large part of the day. I was extremely happy to see a sign at the door of Saint-Jean-Baptiste announcing that it was open to the public. As imposing as the exterior architecture of the church is, it isn't at all indicative of its intricate interior. Since Montreal is a city of many churches, it's easy to just walk by one without checking how it looks inside. For Saint-Jean-Baptiste, that would be a big mistake.

Really beautiful Church in platue. Church is open to all and mass is really beautiful and peaceful. Check the timings before visiting here cause it's not open 24x7. Saturday Sunday Mass happens in the morning hours. Really nice place to visit during Christmas or any other Cristian holidays.

Great place, filled with a beautiful community, including kids of my age and younger, around 14 years old. If you're Portuguese, there are some Portuguese people; if you're French, it's filled with them too. The best part is that everyone is very welcoming. Just say hi and they will respond with kindness. I highly recommend going to the community dinner. There's also a scout group. But the best part about this place is the community.Great...

This new French church represents their monopoly and their victory in Montréal. They already took the heart of Plateau Montroyal and they are expanding to Villeray. Landlords are happy with them because they produce and reproduce gentrification. They get great jobs in Montréal as soon as they arrive. Education, euros, french and dollars are their strength. If you want to meet them. Visit this church every Sunday at 11am. You'll...
