Tête de Pierogi — Attraction in Montreal

Tête de pierogi is DELISH! Tamara’s got a great operation with your classic OG pillowy soft potato pierogis with heavenly mild twaròg (farmer’s cheese), caramelized onions, fresh herbs and sour cream, plus other toppings for meat eaters. Rotating special flavours, vegan/gf options and other small dishes are also a plus, rounding out the menu. We also enjoyed the mega tasty jalapeño cheddar special pierogi and the blueberry ones which were bursting with flavour. The shop is charming and cosy, perfect to drop in for a quick bite: there’s a high counter to eat at, pretty blue ceramic bowls, a sweet framed photo sharing the owner’s family connection to the dish, and a wall full of a variety of playful pierogi characters designed by Tam herself. The soup of the week was absolutely delicious—a perfect blend of hearty and comforting flavors. I only wish they sold a larger bowl of this amazing soup.

The pierogies were okay, though a few more toppings would have added an extra kick of flavor.

The owner was friendly and courteous, and I appreciated the handwritten “thank you” on the takeaway bag—a nice touch that shows attention to detail.

I would definitely go back, especially for that soup. It’s more of a lunch or snack vibe rather than dinner, as it left me still a bit hungry unless you prefer...

I’m from Alberta and Finally got to check this place out it did not disappoint the vibe was great it was fast and awesome service ! The food was also amazing some of the best pierogi’s I’ve had by far I ordered 6 but could’ve eaten 12 or more they were addicting I will definitely be back for more the next time I visit Montreal ❤️😋 if your looking for great service and amazing food check...
