An absolute highlight of Montreal Botanical Garden!

I was looking forward to seeing this section of the garden as I have heard amazing things, and I was not disappointed! In fact, it became one of my most favorite parts of the entire visit.

The garden is meticulously designed in a stunning Chinese style, complete with pagodas, pavilions and moon bridges. The careful arrangement of plants, water and stones creates a sense of harmony and tranquility, especially in the early morning when it's relatively quiet. Unfortunately the popularity of the garden takes its toll as the day progresses and gets very busy, even on a rainy day. I'd suggest coming here first thing in the morning and then continue with the rest of the gardens.

There are no food or drink options here. In fact, nowhere in the gardens, so bringing your own would not be a bad idea. I could totally easily imagine a little stand or stall selling authentic Chinese tea, as I experienced in another Chinese garden in Manheim, Germany, and it added an extra level of enjoyment to the experience.

Overall, the Chinese garden is a picturesque place, offering photo opportunities at every turn. It's also an excellent spot to relax, whether on one of the benches or inside a pagoda. There is a little yard behind the main pavilion featuring a rock garden and bonsai that is worth checking out!

There are several replicas that come pretty close to real deal. Very well put together. Bonsai trees take the crown! There are great variety of them as well as each one showed just how greatly they have been taken care of by their caretakers. Every single inch of this place shows the amount of effort, care, talent, excellence and beauty that can only be achieved by going above and beyond! Tons of educational signage for kids and adults alike accompanies each species and though they house literally thousands of species, you'll not find more than couple that may be missing the info tag! If I had time, I would totally donate my time to pair each tag with qr code that could lead you to all encompassing web articles that could offer dynamic digital presence that the new generation could benefit from. Regardless, the staff is very patient, considerate, thoughtful, helpful and informative. All these invaluable offerings are at such a low price, I almost felt bad for not paying enough for this gem. My only regret is that I didn't have enough time. This place needs two days at least to go through everything throughly if you've is with you. Anyways, I love you guys and your team for your dedication, respect, hard work and relentless care it must take to keep this place in the immaculate state it's...

I have mixed feelings about Chinese Garden. One, this garden is the most beautiful garden in Botanical Garden in Montreal, and another is I'm not crazy about non-plants or decoration stuff like fake flamingo, sculpture on the lake, etc. I want to see how beauty of nature is not the pure human creator without applying plants or flowers.

When I bought the ticket, they asked me if I'm interested in coming back around 7PM for lighting event with the same price I paid, just make a reservation because maybe it limits capacity. I didn't want to come so I feel that I made the right choice after seeing all garden in this park I don't feel that so special I have to...
