Maligne Canyon is a must do and see when visiting Jasper, very close to town, ample parking lots, restaurant and souvenir shop, bathrooms are a hole on the ground unless using the one’s by the restaurant, there are several lookout points throughout the entire trail so make sure to take advantage of your cell phone or digital camera and capture this beautiful natural canyon with several bridges and waterfalls throughout the entire area.Please wear good footwear when hiking here specially when...

While we were disappointed the Maligne Canyon was closed due to 2024 fire damages, we were glad we took our time strolling the walls at Maligne Overlook. It gave us a sense of sadness but also an appreciation at the same time seeing both the beauty and the burned forests. It also gave us the sense of hope.
