A small park, but great location. This park is connected to the beautiful walking trails along the Oromocto River and in behind a large shopping area and rec centre. This would be a great spot to bring kids, wear them out a bit, get groceries at the Superstore and then head home if you live in the area. If not, the area offer plenty of nature worth the drive. You can even go kayaki in the river if you bring your own.

We wanted to get off the TCH to see more of the landscape and have a picnic lunch. This was a great spot but we couldn't find a washroom. There was a Tim Hortons very near though so that wasn't a problem. Lovely spot with picnic tables and shade.

Clean and quiet when I visited one afternoon looking for the statue of the Giant Soldier on the FMC scavenger hunt. Later heard it was swept away in the spring flood. Long gone.

The grounds are home to a large marina and large boat launch. A clean area has plenty of garbage cans. Public washrooms opened on and closed on a schedule. There is plenty of grass to sit and read or do your thing with A few historical items and items that hold special represention.

A large covered stage, a very large gazebo, plenty of small gazebos and picnic tables, a small playground,

A small public launch that is ideal for paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes.

A fair sized lodge (The Hazen Center) that often holds public events. Also, it offers the ability to be reserved and rented for private events.

Closer to the walking trail, you will find a business offering rentals of canoe, kayak, paddle boards, and equipment to go with it. They also have a small floating warf and launch area. It's strictly for their business.

2022 Grimross offered bar service from a seacan with a roaped off area and outdoor seating. A great addition to the town. Micro brewed beer and cider in an outdoor area by the river. It would be nice to see another business with a small footprint added to the area. Could use a chip truck. Hotdogs stand anything. Great potential. There was 1 there for years, but it's no longer there. The NB Sentier trail leads you right to the area. And it is behind the strip mall. And close to groceries and a few different fast...

Went during the day time and the history is rather quite interesting, love the little tid bits and homage, definitely a family friendly spot with a park for kids and a nice view for the gen pop to sit, enjoy and chill. There are lots of boats so of that's your thing, but personally I just like the Lakeview in all it's glory so if you Trek a bit further you can get away from them.

Went back at night time, just as pleasurable, really does set the mood, a lakeview with a starlit night. Great for destressing, reminiscing and reconnecting with the...
