Habaneros Modern Taco Bar — Restaurant in New Brunswick

Myself and hubz ordered burrito bowl meals and two tacos and I am sorry the food was so awful and disgusting tasted nothing like the advertisement like for example the jerk chicken my hubz ordered which tasted like boiled water chicken no spice at all and looked stale as if it was old from a different day.

My spiced beef option I chose for my bowl tasted disgusting as well no spice of any sort to it just straight up ground beef not even salt was used believe it or not.

The two tacos we ordered we got the Korean steak option even that one tasted awful it was too sweet never ate sweet steak before so that was super gross.

The rice for both bowls was disgusting we got the mexican and curry one it tasted like nothing of what the advertisement said it would be, and it was undercooked it had some hard texture here and there and no taste whatsoever.

The chipotle sauce container was running out on all of our meals the worker didn't even bother to open up a new one where some of our food didn't have enough sauce.

The outrageous wait time we waited was also ridiculous and we also paid extra for meat and cheese and there comes our food none of that was there of what we PAID extra for so the worker had to redo it.

I believe the worker was the young one with glasses and minimal beard of some sort I don't think he should work there anymore to how badly he screwed up everything when the receipt was clear as glass of what we ordered. No excuse at all as it was not busy to begin with so no amount of apology on his behalf will undo this miserable experience.

Avoid eating here at all costs. Stick to the other menu with the burger selection that side of the restaurant is...

Today I came in at a little after 2pm. Off time so it wasn’t very busy. I ordered 2 small burritos for myself and my boyfriend. After standing at the counter where you would put your toppings on for close to 10 minutesy partner went back to the cash and ordered 2 Budweiser’s and were told they would come to the table. Then someone finally came to start making our burritos. No apology for the wait. She wasn’t friendly and it seemed like an inconvenience that she had to do her job and make our food. After the toppings were in she folded my boyfriends burrito so poorly and with many tries. And then gave it to him without a plate. When it came to mine she decided to ask her co worker why folding wasn’t working. She was told the right way to do it but didn’t correct herself and I got a very messy burrito with toppings lost from her folding tries. Both of them were a mess and falling apart. And at our table we were not brought the beers! So my boyfriend went back up to get them. Turns out they only had one Budweiser. Did the other sell during the time we waited? He got a different type that he didn’t like and we ate our messy meal. So much potential to be a great place! Just needs better and more...

I recently ordered food from Habaneros, first thing is that i was presently surprised by how fast the delivery time was. It said 30 mins on the app but it took only 20; however, when the food arrived, there were absolutely no utensils or napkins included. I live in a residence where we dont have utensils so if they do not include it i cannot eat the food. So i called and asked if they usually do not include any utensils and they told me they do. I carefully explained that i did not receive utensils with my food so i could not enjoy it. There was a long pause without her offering any type of way to offer help when Habaneros was the one who forgot to include any utensils. So now im off to Tim hortons to get plastic forks which is a 30 min walk. I understand that this was a mistake; however, when you make a mistake in the restaurant industry, you offer to make up for it or say sorry.
