There was ample parking in the Butterfly Conservatory parking area. It’s a great place to park if you’re thinking of not driving and taking a WeGo bus instead to Niagara Falls. The buses run every 11 minutes*, but you’ll need to buy a ticket or day pass from a cashier on the grounds prior to boarding as tickets are not sold on buses. I purchased a Niagara Parks Commission pass for CDN $20 from a kiosk—they’re everywhere, work best with a credit card, and ask for your license plate number—and placed it on the dashboard, face up. It serves as a parking ticket and is valid for a whole year. Sadly, the Commission no longer provides large, laminated passes. The parking attendant recommended that I place the pass (approximately 4” x 2.5”) in a small, transparent, plastic bag for safekeeping which I did. The Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens are splendid! They are very well maintained and we saw teams of young people working on the grounds. An admission ticket to the Butterfly Conservatory costs CDN $16.50 + tax. They take a picture of you upon entering that can later be purchased from the gift shop. Standing in front of a green screen, you’re asked to hold out your hand as if providing support for a butterfly. Entering the conservatory, we walked on a narrow, slate gray, stone path following a long line of people. It feels warm and humid inside, bright sunlight streams in from the large windows, and you’re surrounded by a multitude of living butterflies that freely flies throughout a similitude of a natural habitat (rocks and greenery). There is a long list of butterflies that one can see at the conservatory, but the Blue Morpho may be the most spectacular. Be prepared to be surrounded by both many people and many butterflies with the latter sometimes landing directly on you! There are wooden benches along the way to rest on as you travel the path—but all were occupied during our visit. Large signs act as reminders to be mindful to make sure that no butterflies are clinging to you prior to exiting the conservatory. We enjoyed strolling through the Prairie Garden—except when encountering an enormous, wooden bee hive with the image of a huge bee in relief, enjoyed a snack at the Butterfly Café, and strolled along impeccably maintained asphalt walkways with a variety of gorgeous flowers. There are elegant, metal benches placed at intervals where you can sit down and relax during your visit. The gardens are well-attended with visitors hailing from around the world. I give this venue a four-star rating only because I believe that there should be more dining options available and that the number of people entering the conservatory should be limited during peak times. Visiting the gardens was a unique experience and I encourage you to go. *Schedules with specific times that vary by season are posted next to the bus stop which is conveniently located adjacent to the...

It's packed in the summer I would believe but since it's off season, the number of visitor is nice so not too crowded. The pricing is on their website but I think I payed for cad18 per person if I'm not mistaken. The butterfly conservatory started with the brief movie about how they perform their job in daily basis and it was so educational. The movie is shot perfectly. I had fun watching it, in fact, it was too short for me I want morrreee. The conservatory was nice and warm and there's so many butterflies literally from various species. I wish they could give us more info about the name of those insdie the conservatory may be with banner or something attached on the wall probably. The whole attraction is huge so you can walk around to the other side to check other one. I went to check the Rose garden and the botanical garden. It's such a relaxing beautiful location. Worth your money and totally...
