Cannot say enough positive things about this winery. I was in the area on vacation for 4 days, and out of every winery I visited, this was by far my favorite (so much so that I stopped in on 3 different occasions). I also must say that I was only initially supposed to be in the area for 2 days, but extended my stay an extra 2 nights due to the incredible hospitality of the area- and largely due to such a positive experience at this particular winery. The wines are great and reasonably priced. I also purchased some very cute charcuterie pottery bowls from their little store- also very well priced. Beautiful views. The best part, though, was how they treated my dog. He got his own doggie 'flight' (for only $2) and loved the biscuits! The staff gave him so much attention, and even offered to puppy sit while I ran to the restroom. Great experience all around! Thank you so much to the kind staff who helped me make beautiful memories with my aging pup.

We had such a lovely time at Marynissen Estates while visiting the Niagara area. After much research I found this to be the only winery in the area that didn’t require a reservation. This worked best with our timeline for the day. It’s a small indoor space but has a lovely outdoor area with a view of the vines. It was so wonderful to see how dog friendly they are and we loved meeting a few furry friends during our visit. Overall the wine is just okay. We’d return simply for the vibes and wonderful service alone!

Great place for really great tasting wines and Brianne and Megan We’re so accommodating and kind and helped us choose some good wines to take back to the US. They were sweet knowledgeable. We will definitely return. A lovely setting, where you can also bring your dog. They also participate in the discovery pass program, so you can sample their wines and enjoy a snack with it. Update: Had a great time year 2! 2025 thank you. Nice friendly staff. Enjoyed the Vidal sparkling very much $60 CAD on 27 January 2025.

I am giving a 3 because I think we are being nice. It was a nice ish looking winery . They had three staff there. One was an assist manager which I was surprised by. Not all wineries will be amazing and we understand that. But this winery didn’t Explain what they were serving us and didn’t ask how we enjoyed it. The assistant manager had commented how she didn’t look forward to the stat holiday as she hopped it would be slow. As a person who works in service even if I think something I would never say what I am thinking and always project a positive outlook. I would think that a staff me ever would always project positivity and happiness when working. So maybe they should be looking into hiring slow and firing fast as a...

I discovered Marynissen in 2014 with receiving ā€œBottoms Upā€ at a dinner. I loved it because it had sediments and it was the best bottle of wine I ever had, before it was found in LCBO. Wow, I can’t believe I have been drinking your wine for 10 years and feel a bit old typing this now.

Joining the book club in 2024 has been a new year resolution and connecting with great people today at the first get together meant so much to me. I want to be 90 one day and share my story of how I came across this beautiful place while toasting ā€œBottom’s Upā€! While the company we keep, ownership, and label may change, Marynissen will always be magical for me....
