Greetings! I have a great suggestion if you're going on a long travel and need a little break. Have you ever heard of the viewpoint point on the Trans-Canada Highway that is situated halfway between Terrance Bay and Thunder Bay? You can get there in about two minutes from the highway intersection, and there is plenty of free parking and sitting available there as well. wow everything for free to enjoy :)
Getting to the viewing point via the steps will reward you with a stunning view of the Nipigon River Bridge and an aerial perspective of the river, so if you're feeling brave, I highly advise doing so. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to visit this observation point both during the day and at night because each view is distinctive in its own right and equally stunning. Amazing .. .!!
Take some time to enjoy this peaceful and awe-inspiring location before continuing on with your journey. You won't be disappointed!
This is a neat lookout area over looking a cemetry just south of Trans Canada Highway. A beautiful view of the bridge to the north as well as to the south into Lake Superior. It has plenty of parking, although during the day this place can be really crowded as many travellers are stopping by to check it out. The whole of Lake Superior Scenic Drive along the Trans Canada Highway is one of my favourite places to be.
