The Edgeview — Restaurant in Nipigon Township

I am not exaggerating when I say that this is one of the best restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of eating at! It's definitely the best in the area. The owners are the loveliest couple you'd ever meet, a splendid chef and an equally amazing hostess/ waitress. The atmosphere is happy and comfortable, the food has never failed to be delicious, and the prices are very reasonable for the portions. I highly recommend ordering whatever the special of the night is, ive had it be everything from coconut shrimp to bacon wrapped pork medallions. With any main dish comes with multiple sides, such as carrots, coleslaw, and french fries or mashed potatoes, such a bargain. 10 out of 10. If you’re driving through Nipigon please take the time to turn off the hwy for 2 mins to this cute and cozy place. My friend and I had burgers and fries and if you like old school chip trucks these people offer one of the best burgers and fries the both of us ever had. Was nostalgic! The waitress was just as amazing as the food. The atmosphere is friendly. People from the town come in and everyone seems to know each other. Was like taking a step back in time. Back in September my girlfriend and I made a 2 week road trip to head up to sleeping giant. I never left a review of this place which is unfortunate due to the phenomenal service/hospitality and quality of the food. I wish I could remember the names of the couple that own it but none the less the food was so fantastic that we stopped there twice. Once on the way up to sleeping giant and we came back on the way down. To top it off we got a seat on their patio which over looks the river.
