Read moreWent to check out the stars and wow, does it get dark or what?? At one point I was scared to get outta my car for fear of what was out there in the pitch black. Stars were in full display and it was relatively early still, 9:30pm-10pm. There are two areas to park, a small one at the entrance and a huge one around the bend beside the boat launch area. Was my first time here so I was unsure of the best place to view the stars so I decided to pack it up for the night and check it out in the daytime. Amazing view across the water to our U.S neighbors and the snow topped mountains. A bit cold today but can imagine a summer or spring day here. Definitely coming back for the stars but also some picture taking...

A little beach to explore when the tide is out, rocks to climb, birds to watch, sailboats, yachts, kayaks, canoes, cargo ships, and fishing boats.
