I started Regymen at GoodLife Fitness 15 months ago.  I liked the organized workouts and hands-on coaching that pushed me to do fitness routines I avoided in the past. Regymen is High Intensity Interval Training that combines lifting, running, skiing, boxing, lunging, cycling, squatting, slamming, and stretching... all in one. I was 64 years old when I started, and already in good shape.  I said to the Head Coach, "I'm older than everybody else.  At my age, I'm not trying to get better.  I'm just trying not to get worse." But I have gotten better.  Much better. My goal for 2024 is to run the mile in 6 and a half minutes, which is my age (my best is 7:15 right now).  I don't think anyone else in the Club can run their age (young people have no chance. Lol!). If i don't make it, I'll keep trying at least until I'm 90.  A 9-minute mile at 90 should be a piece of cake. I love Regymen.  I go practically everyday (sometimes twice a day).  Along with a friend, I set a record, in November, of 50 Regymen classes in one month. Thanks GoodLife, and thanks to the great coaches, the Fab 5: Kevin, Karen, Jess, Brian, Portiarain; and the 2 Newbies, Shaylene and Abeer. Great gym, convenient hours, and a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and members! The space is always clean and fully equipped with everything I need. But what truly sets my experience apart is training with Mark Guarini—and I can’t recommend him enough! Training with Mark for the past 17 years has been nothing short of life-changing. His passion, deep expertise, and personalized approach have helped me hit every fitness goal I’ve set, from building strength to enhancing flexibility and perfecting my nutrition. Mark takes the time to understand your unique needs and challenges, pushing you to become the best version of yourself, both physically and mentally. With a holistic approach to wellness, Mark combines expert personal training, nutrition guidance, and Fascial Stretch Therapy, ensuring that every session is effective, rewarding, and enjoyable. If you’re ready to take your fitness to the next level and transform your life, look no further—Mark Guarini is the trainer you need!

I’m in town for work, and needed to work out as I am a Goodlife member. A different gym just to give myself a new vibe for the weekend was my preference but I quickly stumbled across the Goodlife in Windsor here through the great reviews. I was blown away with how clean the facility was top to bottom. The locker rooms were immaculate, and there was plenty of equipment and space. I noticed the Rockwall when I had come in and it’s been about 15 or so years since I was able to enjoy that activity. The front desk staff was very welcoming and I most certainly will be back. This was the cleanest goodlife I’ve ever been to.

Lies, allegations, poor management, corrupt trainers. These are all things that GoodLife fitness does really well. Initially my experience with GoodLife was good. I was doing personal training and whatnot and it was going well. My trainer then left his job, leaving me with someone else. Never really got the vibe he liked me but I figured I may as well go along with it because I need to face the fact that there's people that don't like me and I don't like back in life, so I need to suck it up. In any other situation this would've been the right thing to do, but in this one it was far from it. I should've stopped training with him the minute I started having these thoughts. He had told his manager that I had made some... Let's just say some very demented comments. I never did this. Regardless I got a call saying my membership was frozen and they had an investigation going on regarding me. It was a week before I even started to find out what I was being accused of. Furthermore, the manager at the gym claimed to know nothing despite clearly being the one told about this alleged incident. Not saying she did, but I really don't believe she didn't know what was going on at all either. Anyways during this I decided to cancel my membership as I didn't want GoodLife getting money they quite frankly don't deserve. After multiple calls, some very incompetent staff members, I got nowhere. I ended up cancelling my membership myself from their website. All they had to do was click one button, but apparently that was too much work for them. So I got it cancelled, and the "investigation" was still going on. To be honest, I have to give my trainer credit for how good the lies he made up were. Of course, they were things that anyone who knows me even slightly knows I would never say, but he was rather creative with them. Anyways, there was no evidence to prove I had said any of this that they could find. SHOCKING, RIGHT? So anyways the investigation gets closed, but we found out that they were at this point still taking out money, despite being told multiple times from multiple people that no more money would be taken from us having to do with my membership, just training as to cancel that there was a buyout fee. So in the end the buyout fee was paid but they still withheld information especially considering that if the buyout fee wasn't paid before a certain date, they would get to take more money. They left that out. Anyways everything is cancelled and the investigation is over now. If you take anything from this review let it be to not even take one sip of their Kool aid. The minute you sign up, you're pretty much signing yourself up for some level of a headache eventually. All they want is your money. In fact, they even had the gaul to ask me to come back after the investigation was closed, and train with the same trainer. If it didn't seem like all they want is your money before, it sure should now.

Tl;Dr GoodLife fitness is a bunch of two faced scammers, DONT GIVE...

I went to get a personal trainer and paid all together 372 with my membership being 72.00. Personal Trainer I put down 300 ( my choice) went in for the manager to assess me and she asked for an extra 276 dollars. She stated that the assessment was free and when I work out with my Personal Trainer I pay. Manager made up my exercise plan for 3 days a week and never told me about options. When I got home I talked to my daughter who said that’s way to expensive I have never had a PT and didn’t know my options. I called right away and talked to the PT about my concern. We made a time to meet and and I cancelled my first appointment with him over that phone conversation.he then text me. late at night saying a different time and we had to meet with the manager and him. I messaged him back and told him this is too much I will just cancel my membership I’m not going back and forth and I will be in Wednesday at 4pm for my money, He told me only the Manager can give back, At home and got a text from GoodLife saying oh oh you missed your appointment with your Personal Trainer 😡 Then the PT called me again saying the manager won’t be in until 5. So upset I had to go at 5 . Went in and spoke with the manager briefly who said she will give me the 72.00 for the membership but cannot give me the rest because the Personal Trainer didn’t cancel my training appointment that I never got so now the Head manager has to do it and she won’t be in until Friday. Will update this rating about the outcome and tell yall how long it takes me to get my money back.😩😩oh when I was leaving seen the personal Trainer run up and talk to her. I knew him because she showed me his picture. Update so over all it took another 2weeks to finally receive my monies. The PT trainer kept passing the buck and stalling payment. The General manager was very helpful and tried to help me through all this process but the PT manager was the only one who could release the funds I was told. Glad it’s behind me now will never deal with GoodLife...

I had a terrible experience at this gym. I have been a member for 18 years never had any complients when i filed a complaint about another new member that was acting out playing music on a speaker video taping in the changerooms i was shruged off by the front desk employee when comaplaing to mangement i was treated rudely after this issue i. Believe the member was banned i was harrased given bad looks by the past members friends i was approched and talked to rudly by a member and him trying to rip a barbell out of my hand droping it on my foot injuring me i then told the front desk worker she was unprofessional not taking it serious asking if i need cpr for a foot injury i filed another complaint reguarding this incident the manger. The manger julie Was rude again on the phone not letting me talk when explaining im being targeted by the friends of the banned member and them knowing i filed a confidentiel conplaint i was told its untrue i was asking what i would want to do about the member injuring me instead of normal sympathy and a manger stating what they can do i then complained about the front desk employee being unprofessional not working and hanging out with a group of people laughing about this situation that are again friends with the past two members i was then banned a week later for 3 months for leaving weights around which i didnt and. Was told i had multple complients and was given a final warning which i wasnt It suprising harsh as i had no incidents in 18 years of being a member im am very upset and saddened with a ban that was in my opinion targeted beacuse of my past complients on a member and employee terrible experience . i workout as it benifits my physical and mental health and i have trained for a upcoming marathon and competive sports im involved in and this whole not doing so will effect me I also have a sour taste and dont think ill ever feel the same way about Goodlife fitness as I always thought they cared about members but the way I was...
