I struggle to see where the balance is here,, with the public and Nature ..Trails are trails Not roads. plz.. PAVED Paths ???!! Where are we taking into consideration the animals the heat and toxins it draws..and upkeep ..Turtle crossings frogs.. I've not seen any signs for respecting wildlife. Stop signs are missing ,dogs are now allowed off leash, those signs have disappeared to. Who are we really cattering to. Because our down town is also going seriously down hill as far as maintenance goes and so are the intown roads around here. Peaple speeding at night.. nothing IMPORTANT is focused on.. Improvement is good but balance is critical...I love Waterford ..but truly disapointed in where...

Great trail for biking all paved from Brantford to Waterford. Port Dover to Waterford is crushed gravel mostly and some paved portions through town. All are well maintained and easy flat riding like most Rail Trails. I rode from Brantford to Waterford and back and it was beautiful and from Port Dover from Silver Lake park to Waterford and back great trail as well. Great signage and upkeep you will love these rides. I parked at Brantford civic centre and Silver Lake lots of free parking in...

After a coffee stop at the Belching Barista my wife and I spent a couple hours walking some of this trail system . Very well maintained trails , some paved some not , some shaded some not . Some nice views from the bridges . If you like paddling around on flotation devices this is a good place to come . Lots of birds , butterflies and other nature to enjoy here .Recommend these trails and do hope to return and explore some more .
