I stopped by with my wife here as we saw a open sign on our way. I wanted to buy a Rose after tasting it. The lady said They don't have a opened one but we can try others. She gave us a white wine and l was thinking what made her to not open a bottle for us to taste before we buy!on the entrance it said taste is available! Do they have special bottles for tasting or just opened one of their bottles to try! All the time l was there was 5 minutes! However my wife asked me to buy one from the others that she offered to taste But l bought a Rose only and came out as l could see 8 bottles on the shelf. I felt like she behaved us like someone that came to taste and go away. What made her to behave like that, no idea!! difiently, we felt like being judged for something.
** I could luckily stop by at Da Silva's vineyard at the corner of the road and 100% different experience. Read my review at their location and see how you should be greeted and feel welcoming. I will Not even try to pass Township 7 ! I read other low rated reviews about similar experience regarding the staff behaviors, and would like to mention that, even you made the best wine in the world, your staff are the key for success! You have same negative feedback from people last few years. I increased my rate from 1 to 2 to leave a fair review as the wine taste is not rated and just rated the...

Among the first wineries in BC to create méthod champenoise, Township 7 focused on showcasing its similar terroir of Champagne in the Fraser Valley with allowing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to shine.
Adding to the story, is the second purchase of their Okanagan vineyard located on the world class Naramata Bench in 2003. Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Merlot, Malbec and Petite Verdot represented here.
Tying both together with her expertise is award winning Sommelier and Winemaker Mary McDermott (Brock University, Inn on the Twenty, Stratus, Cave Spring Cellars, Trius) whom transplanted from Niagara to the Okanagan in 2014.
Undoubtedly, one of BC’s premiere bubble house winning Best Canadian Sparkling wine at Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships in London 2019. 🏆🥂🍇
Had a marvellous time seeing WM McDermott and warm hosting...
Read moreI had visited Township 7 Vineyards & Winery early in their start-up (2004-5) and was impressed then. I have stopped in from year to year and sampled their quality lineup and was never disappointed. In my recent September 2024 visit - I was very impressed by their vineyards bounce back from the extreme cold in January 2024. I was perhaps even more impressed by their current wines - shown and described very capably by Kathy/Cathy in the tasting area. No hard sell from Kathy (still, I did buy the NBO), but professional background info on harvest conditions, wine-making and very friendly clues on the aromas that contribute to each of the wines' gestalt (haven't used that word for a long while ;). On a final note - thank you Kathy for a very worthwhile visit in Naramata last Monday. I do hope to make it over to the Langley winery with some of my wine appreciation class soon and taste/buy some more wines....
