The place is good. The tube slides has different path with different slope. The system is amazing. If you buy a day long or 4-hr block ticket they will give you a plastic ticket which you can use as many times as you want. You can also take a break when you are tired and then start again. There is also a big restroom near the slides where you can take rest, change your clothes and use the washroom. Select a day with less wind and good temperature.
However, i give two star less because of the difference in price in their website and the actual price. We saw the price for whole day is 18 cad however when we proceed to purchase they charge us more than 40 which is more than double. The price is actually depends on the day (weekday/weekends) and how advance you book the ticket. Unfortunately they hide this information in the front page and they only show the lowest price in the front page. To me, this is a trap and kinds of cheating. Where their neighbours show this information clearly on their website. I was very frustrated because we choose them over their neighbours only because of price. I agree that I am an idiot who didn’t press the buy ticket button and was happy just to see the price on their webpage.
Another thing is they have different places for ski, rollercost, and tube. We first went to the ski entrance where they directed is to...
Read moreI really enjoyed Tubing here. The staff is great and they're very helpful and polite. None of the runs made made my stomach flip.. A 4 hour visit is really all you need to be able to do all. We didn't get a chance to do the bobsleigh and I think that might be the.only one with enough speed to get a rush. The Tornado was really fun and we managed to get it to spinn all the way down. Awesome to do with a group. The Vortex 360 is better in a group but the runs are not steep enough to get any speed. The best were the diamond runs at the top. It's a bit of a hike up stairs the the 3 diamond is worth it. Again, not enough to scream. Don't try bringing the little ones up there because you need to be 52 inches to do it and the staff follow the rules. They really should have more places to sit and warm up outside. Only one fire pit with 6 seats, there should be at least 5. Maybe 2 stations for tunes would be helpful as they are quite a hike from the other ascent. All in all, great...
Read moreThis was honestly a big disappointment
I wanted to bring some family from out of town tubing during the holidays. At first we accidentally show up to Pays En Haut, which is directly next door only to get excited and then realize we’re at the wrong place. We had pre-bought tickets online thinking we’d save time so we left and headed next door.
We get to Avila and the line up to get our tickets was about 45 minutes. They had two windows open and it moved so slow. What was the point of buying tickets online in advance???
Sadly the worst part was the disappointment of the actual hill. 3 identical runs that literally took 12 seconds to get down. The website claimed to have 19 which seems to be the case over the years based on multiple reviews.
Only one lift up, so the line up was about 20-25 minutes each time. We would have been better off walking up… which we couldn’t as it was blocked off.
Honestly, this was a pretty big rip off. Do yourself a favor and go next door to...
