Pine Centre Mall — Attraction in Prince George

I have had an ongoing refund request with the New Look Eyewear here in Prince George BC (Located in Pine Center Mall). I initially went and got a refund because the new glasses I got were cutting into my nose and were painful (literally bled) They refused to exchange for a different pair (just offered a lens switch as I also had a new prescription) so I asked for a refund as they advertise it everywhere. They then refunded me the portion I paid over my insurance and told me that it would be about 6 weeks to refund the $500 to SUNLIFE. Which I had no issue with. They then told me that I was banned from ever purchasing glasses with them for myself, or my family and seeing as my entire family wears glasses was a blow. Which is a little extreme when the glasses I had literally made me bleed, and I would have been more than happy to exchange.

Time goes on and SunLife tells me that they mailed the letter regarding the overdraft payment on March 21 2025. New look here tells me they haven’t received it and Sunlife says they have sent other requests since then. However, I am getting frustrated. I contacted Sunlife and they gave me the information they require on the refund cheque to themselves the claim number and the OPID the amount and everything. I gave it to the local office and they advised they still needed the letter that’s been sent numerous times and yet somehow they still haven’t gotten it. I am getting very frustrated, and this does not seem ethical, or right. Sunlife is getting upset as well. I really hope you are able to help me move forward to resolve this, I have emailed infoweb@newlook.ca and gotten nothing, this is not how a business...

Liked the cleanliness and also the social politeness of PG'ians practicing soc. Dist'ing & masks. The staff all kind, welcoming, candid, and knowledgeable. Having booster juice within the food court court helps with energy levels for all the hours I'd spend there so I really like that! The sales were alright on clothes..some VERY good actually! Housewares ..jewelry..and tech sales seem to evade me tho lol. I also wish there were more affordable natural eco friendly options available in many of the great selection of stores at Pine Centre but i was pleased to see some options available. All in all good mall, but can do with minor upgrades on indoor ambiance, or music, or lighting along walls, or maybe a fountain or 2 or 3 lol.. or welcoming themes perhaps. My kids seem to respond to 'tone' ..much more enjoyable shopping experience than frenzy lol ..btw they LOOOVE the play area and the ride by food court entrance....now only if there were space for a PAY-PER-Hr daycare. Your welcome..to the entrepreneur who utilizes...

Went to Sephora to grab my birthday gift. Went to the til / pay counter encounter the rep name Myla or Myrla( Asian decent ).As soon as I asked her for my birthday gift she made me feel like I am no body . I asked what’s my option and she pointed to one box and said that’s it . I asked usually there are more options she said no just that . She is talking to me but completely looking other way like I am no one and am here for free stuff . Anyways I asked her can I redeem my points and see what I can get with it, she completely ignored and the other lady came out of nowhere thanks to her and she said they do have few variety of birthday stuff at the back . When the other lady brought the box Myrla quickly showed me couple and put them back didn’t even think that I might need a sec to see what is it tho . Been customer with Sephora for over 10 years .
