omg this place!!my love and i showed up while it was raining.panicing the entire 2.5 hr drive there that it would be cancelled.it started to clear a bit and so were delighted.as soon as we arrived we were asked how we could be assisted.pointed to the area we needed 2 b and greeted again and told we could go over and visit some horses while we wait.my sweet love knew i had fears but between him and horses i calmed down right fast. i had made the reservations about a week before with constant communications back to me and explaining i was booking this for my bday so up comes a young lady drenched from the rain and her previous horse ride with clients she was ready 2 towel off and go.we told her to go warm up and take her time as we were having a good time visiting horses.after a short bit she came back dried off and long slicker like my man was wearing.they both looked so cute.she introduced us to oprah and bubba and helped us get on our horses and off we went for our trail ride.it was so calming..raining a little again we didnt fret.the scenery and chat with our guide were just so perfect.i felt like a queen.my man is usually the spotlight lover yet never steals it when i have it and promotes it lol.we were her last clients of the day day so we took our time on the trails.every staff member we passed was so kind and genuinely loving their job.after our trail ride we went for our lunch and as soon as we walked into the restaurant we were greeted with huge smiles and such grace.seated and a beautiful rose on our table with bday wishes.our lunch was omg omg omg so perfect.and the presentaion of it was immaculate.after lunch i was given a little bday gift.truffles:)))) they all wished me a happy bday again and we sadly had to leave as we were going axe throwing.everything about this place was just perfect and my sweet love and i agreed we must go back.i admit i thought i was a little taken back by the price of everything we did but afterwards i thought it was worth every penny.cant recall all the names of everyone on staff but i thank u all for making it my best bday ever.i surprised my man with plans i made for this even though it was my bday but i missed his.there is not one complaint we have about this place.you must try it for any occasion including just because.it deserves 100 stars.thank u all again for a wonderful day and see u again soon.we love you all ps..if u have lunch there..order the chicken as u wont be disappointed in the least..also my man found a new beer he loves so another bonus indeed.if you are afraid of horses u must try this place as you will be over it fast. also as weird as it sounds..the bathrooms were even spotless.if u have ever had a dream of your man on the white horse...dont bother trying to find it..pick this place instead.my sweety looked like my hero on a...

Pros: Beautiful walking and biking trails, theres both paved and unpaved trails as well as a bridge over the river. The paved trail is also wheelchair accessible. 2 larger parks both right near the parking lot so lots for little ones to do. They have stables right by the main building where you can go pet the beautiful horses They offer carriage rides, trail rides and pony rides for the little ones. The resteraunt is nicely decorated and has pretty great food. It is fairly easy to find and is right off hwy 2 The have lots of awesome events here such as foam fest (obstical course for adults in foam.), wine tasting, date night specials, mothers and fathers day buffet (we do the fathers day one and it's always delicious), pumpkin picking, beautiful winter carriage ride to view all the christmas lights and lots of other cool events through out the year.
Cons: The food is a bit more expensive but better quality than most places. Not a huge menu selection, but still an ok variety of dishes. I find the pony rides pretty over priced. I believe it is $10 to do two laps around a circle. Which in total lasts only a couple minutes. It's ok if your child only wants to ride once or if you're only paying for one child. But if you have multiple children or your child wants to ride a few times it gets rather expensive for what it is.
Overall I find some of things to be a bit pricey here but for the most part they are worth it. I highly recommend checking out Heritage Ranch it's a truly...
Read moreWhat a complete rip off. Had date night dinner. Was over 350$+ at the end of the evening, portion sizes were completely abysmal for the price and neither of us were satisfied/full by the end of the whole ordeal. Not to mention the service was not great either. Apparently we were supposed to get a bottle of wine with the meal and this was never even offered to us. I will also add that I/we frequently dine out (very nice places as well) and have had MUCH MUCH better experiences for a lot less money. Cooking at home renders better results than this. 1st course - frozen grapes tossed in sugar that were supposedly soaked in wine for 48 hours…. they tasted like frozen grapes, nothing special there. 2nd course - oyster mushrooms with sort of a teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds sprinkled on top. The sauce was salty AF!! Mushrooms were basically just the stems?? Rubbery as hell and there was probably like 8 ish little pieces on the plate. 3rd course - salad w/ pecans, goat cheese, cranberries and pears(?) they gave us like a single person sized salad to share. Good but VERY small. The normal menu says that this salad costs like 24 bucks, 24 bucks for a side salad?? Ok I’m not going to continue listing off the courses. Our meat was cooked well and was probably the best thing about the whole affair, but was 5oz for each of us… What a joke. Don’t know anyone who would be fully satisfied with that. Dessert also sucked. Literally never coming back here. Maybe quit...
