Such a hidden gem, its hard to find with google maps as google (at least on my phone) could not find it on the road map, not being from the area i searched for fishing areas and im glad i went. There's a local ranch near the lake with a walking trail that goes to the lake as well as the "alberta sports hall of fame & museum" parking lot is connected Google those and take the walking path to the lake, for me at least it was much better to find. The fish however for me at least were a bit hit and miss, but i did manage to catch and release 6 trout on shore fishing from the dock area near the main road. I would recommend this...

Plenty of water fowl and I've seen one beaver. Also moose. Right next to the river if you want to change it up. Caught my first fish in 20 minutes. Definitely going to...
