We stop here for stretching our legs and washroom break. There’s lots of things to do inside and outside, there’s sports museum inside the center, there’s an admission fee to enter the museum. There’s some tables and chairs and vending machines available, some toys for small kids to play. There’s some stationary exercise machines outside the building. There’s a beautiful trail behind the center with lots of parking and few picnic tables.

-1000 Stars. I always stop in Red Deer on my way to other destinations in Southern Alberta. I spend money when I stop in Red Deer. As of my last trip through Red Deer, I will not be stopping in Red Deer anymore. As a middle-aged man with a disability it is absolutely disgusting how some of your businesses in Red Deer treat disabled people. I am no punk, I am well educated and I certainly do not need to be treated the way I was by some of your businesses in Red Deer. Absolutely disgusting. My recent encounter with businesses in Red Deer not only was directed at me, but also another person with a disability. I have a young gentleman that accompanies me on some of my trips. He has epilepsy and I am his Elder who helps him out. The way he was treated was disgusting as well and could trigger an epileptic seizure. I don't look my age and I certainly do not need to be talked down to because I have a disability. You have lost my business as well as business from all my colleagues. it is 2023 and to have disabled customers treated like the way we were is absolutely disgusting. one or two businesses may think they're on an island of their Own, but the way they treat their customers will affect other businesses around them. So, I will bypass Red Deer completely when I go south. I will also not do any business with any business from Red Deer during my Daily Business activities. my colleagues will do the same.Your businesses is in your city need to realize that just because they are running their business that it does not give them the right to be little somebody based on a disability they have no control over. Some obvious...

Ok, so the building is quite impressive and modern, I liked the architectural design no doubt. But unfortunately, the management does not have a the same good taste when it comes to hiring people. I went into the building to get some help with directions and the girls at the desk were ambivalent to say the least. One of them just handed me a map of red deer and got back to texting without even bothering to ask me what I was searching for. When I inquired again about a specific location, she just pointed me towards the shelf with all the maps of the area. If all people need are maps, then why bother spending taxpayer money on useless staff that have no interest in...
