Lake Wilcox Park — Attraction in Richmond Hill

Went for a spontaneous drive to Lake Wilcox this afternoon with Brian! Soooo pretty especially this time of year! We went in the winter and that was a big mistake! Wayyy to cold! Lol!! Live and learn!!

There is a cute Waterpark, sand area with nets to play volleyball or badminton would be so much fun! A nice area to sit and eat with umbrellas, a stunning view of the lake and a walking or bike path ! A cute skateboard area and playground where kids can enjoy too!

I found out you can rent boats but only on Saturday or Sundays for adults at 1pm and for an hour I believe!

I of course brought my small cooler bag with my salad, leftover bbq chicken, and homemade dressing and flaxseed Bun! I had coffee and water too! A nearly washroom is great and even the porta potties which I really don't like we're exceptionally clean if you needed! Lol!!

Lake Wilcox Park - Richmond Hill is an all round, all season park and distinguishes by its unique Sunset Broadway path, canoeing 🛶 facilities, stroll paths, kids recreational arena padded with soft cork/material ensuring kids safety and an huge splash pad is an icing on the cake.

Best place to see sunset, water front and enjoy walking around in Richmond hill area.Lots of seats, good for picnics and had a very nice bridge and nice scenes. Parking should be paid though. Busy in weekends but still place to park in one of 3 parkings. .
