Prairie Winds Self-guiding Trail — Attraction in Rural Municipality of Springfield

I snowshoed the Prairie Winds Trail (formerly the White Tailed Deer Trail) recently and it is a short, 1.5 km loop trail beginning from the south road in Birds Hill.

The trail is designated for snowshoeing in the winter. Unfortunately, what little snow there was at the time I visited, had been pretty packed down by people walking on the trail, so it didn't make for good snowshoeing conditions. The trail led through a mix of forest and grassland landscape and was pretty. I only wish it had been longer!
