Empty Cup — Restaurant in Rural Municipality of Springfield

06.14.2025 2:30pm-ish Saturday, I get it....It was a busy wkend & theres a long line up to order. I waited so long for my turn to order but barista got busy chit chatting with the person ordering before me, she seem like they knew each other. Finally my turn and I placed my order of 1 large Iced Strawberry matcha only for them to forgot to make my drink. Order after order was handed out. I was standing waiting in the front counter. Then my Husband texted me whats taking so long as he was waiting for me at Nu Burger next door (mind you our food order arrived before I even got my 1 drink!) so barista just called out a medium iced strawberry matcha that I thought maybe it's mine but its not a size large though, obviously it was not mine ahhgain coz someone grabbed it. Now I really have to ask one of the barista as people come and go with their drinks. So the 2 baristas looked at each other like i never existed standing there the whole time! Anyways the barista who orig took my order made my drink right away but i never heard her apologize or anything, she just handed me the drink that was it! I am giving only 2 stars coz I end up liking my drink so I will pretend that I am not annoyed at all and changed my mindset into "oh well, these things happen" as I can't ruin this wkend date with my Husband as I rarely have a wkend off work. One of my girlfriends and I visited the Pine Ridge Hollow empty cup location as we were visiting Pine Ridge for the first time and wanted to have a drink to while we walk around all of the shops. We both ordered an iced vanilla latte. One with regular milk and one with whole mil. Upon getting our drinks and having a few sips, we realized that there was no vanilla in our drinks and they were quite bitter. We went back to the store and kindly asked if we could have a little bit more vanilla in our drinks because we couldn’t taste it. The baristas laughed to themselves and said “they’re gonna taste it in there” and proceeded to add far too much vanilla syrup to the point where the drink was grossly sweet. The staff were quite sour about us bringing our drinks back. I do not think this is what customer service is all about, and I think it was quite rude and caddy what the baristas were whispering...

On July 12, yesterday evening, there were 2 female workers complaining about how many people are coming in before closing time, saying “why is there there more people coming in?!” to her other coworker.

They kept sighing and complaining while they were making our drinks in-front of us. But then when they finally made our drinks, we were taking pictures and she said “oh all your drinks are done by the way” in a rudely manner.

I understand , it’s closing, you guys just wanna go home, the way you showed your actions in-front of your customers is very unprofessional. I’ve worked in the food industry for years now, I know how it’s like.

Another thing not work related, the same girl working that drives a black Chevrolet suv was tail gating us on the way home around 7pm, going past 20km over the speed limit LOL WHO HIRED...
