Nice place to visit, especially on weekdays when it's quieter. There was little to no wait at the ticket counter, which made for a smooth start. The parking lot is small but adequate when it's not too busy. The museum is very modest — more of an introductory area than a full exhibition. The overall theme of the site is a bit unclear, with a mix of dinosaurs, an African village, and a farm, which can feel confusing for those expecting a tour focused solely on ostriches. Access to baby ostriches is restricted for safety reasons, which is understandable, though a bit disappointing. Some of the on-site signage could be clearer. The boutique offers interesting products, but prices seem somewhat high. Tried the ostrich sausage — not a personal favorite, though taste is subjective. On the positive side: there are well-designed play areas for different age groups, a shaded picnic area under the trees and a large tent, and generally friendly staff. This year, egg production is lower, with a waitlist in place — the wildfires may have affected the females’ laying cycle. All in all, a unique and pleasant local experience worth discovering. I recommend it for all ages.

I went in expecting a few ostriches, I left wholly satisfied. Tractor safari, petting zoo, walking tour, boutique, canteen, and a variety of play structures for children throughout. You could easily spend the day here. The owner is clearly passionate about his animals, and his narrations are hilarious. Excellent for children. Note: they seem to be bilingual, but all the spoken information/tour was in French. If you don't understand French, make a point to ask if there is an English version of the safari. (P.S. enjoy my favorite pic: an ostrich giving me a disdainful look LOL)

Definitely not what I thought it was going to be- went there because my daughter saw a billboard and couldn't stop talking about it! Very educational and you really get to get up close and personal with these ostriches (ostri?) The only thing I would recommend is to not go on too hot of a day because they are pretty smelly and the heat only makes that worse (especially going in to see the babies and eggs because they are in a small confined space). Nice park for kids to play in..not really sure that it's the kind of place you visit more than once though.

This is a good destination to take kids for an outing. The group wagon tour included visits with horses, some cattle with enormous horns, and dozens and dozens of ostriches. The ride can be a little bumpy (as should be expected for a wagon pulled behind a tractor), and the speaker volume was a bit loud for our young one, but it was a fun ride.

In addition, there is a walking tour area with goats, sheep, geese, lama, and even more ostriches, plus some emus and peacocks. There are several video displays providing detailed information about ostriches, and you can look in on an ostrich nursery with both incubating eggs and new hatchlings.

There is a gift shop with a variety of themed items for sale, including ostrich meat for home dining.

Hot food, including ostrich, is available. We had some poutine, which was good.

Lots of play area/toys/equipment for kids of all ages, and a picnic area under an oak tree that is several hundred years old.

The staff we interacted with were friendly. The woman conducting the tour was animated and informative.

In total, our cost was $90.00 for 2 adults and 1 young child, that included admission, an order of poutine, an order of fries and a soft drink, plus 1 baby ostrich plush toy souvenir...
