If your expectation of a flea market is to go and leisurely browse in the hopes of finding unique curated items such as artwork, home goods, clothing and accessories….you’ll likely be disappointed. I was. The outside quite frankly felt like stepping into a shanty town with sellers peddling low-quality, flashy items. The place is mostly knock-offs of designer goods. Worse yet, most are fakes you could spot a mile away! Some sellers offer used clothing / shoes which in my opinion is better than buying fakes (of course used items need to be carefully inspected for wear and tear). The inside had the “higher end” offerings yet was also chock full of cheap knock-offs, and low-quality goods. Whilst I wasn’t expecting quality items per se, I know, for example, I can buy quality towels on sale at The Bay at similar prices. We did buy real sunglasses from the optical shop by the entrance and the seller was professional, friendly, and I was able to bargain down the price as one ought to at a flea market. Overall the place is rough, and personally I felt uncomfortable there. Will not be returning which is a shame as a good bargain is always a...

Read moreBe wary, you fellow excited frugal shopper, for the laws of the normal world have no meaning here. You are entering an alternate reality where parking is erratic and chaotic, don't expect lines or even warnings of parking dead ends. Park Far, avoid the madness. Once you manage to enter the outdoor premises, without being hit by waves of vehicles enthralled by the pennies they may save on their rusted tools purchases, you will be in a sea of bargain hunting humanoids, walking erratically from stand to stand. Old dirty home phones, tape cassettes, vinyls of someone's uncle who recorded some birds in the 70s, and pricey Playstation 2 games in faded conditions. You'll enjoy all these great deals in a cigarette smelling atmosphere reminiscent of the 90s. Go indoors if you really want to be thrown back to the leather smelling 80s with probably the same vendors from back then. Worth the adrenaline of trying to stay alive in the...
