Our reservation was for 5:30 pm - we arrived at the restaurant about 5:25- ordered our drinks - which arrived promptly. The restaurant was not too busy so we thought good timing. Our waitress came and we ordered our drinks and dinners - which the drinks arrived fairly fast. We thought that if our drinks arrived that fast our 5 dinners would be somewhat the same - thought wrong. I tried getting our waitresses attention as she was standing at the bar which we were right beside but to no avail. The waitress, the bartender and another staff member we drinking wine at the bar with some other patrons. Shortly after that, the 3 of them progressed to drink shooters at the bar. We as patrons thought this was inappropriate for the staff to be drinking while somewhat working. Finally at 6:30, we ( a party 0f 5) had had enough and I went over to ask our server when will we be getting our dinner. She replied " it will be there shortly" - it came about 20 minutes later. Shortly is 5 minutes - not 20 minutes. Our son and his family who live in St. Eustache , and ourselves who came out from Ontario have had dinner at the restaurant a number of times but this was the absolute worst service we ever had. The menu is only in French and we had to translate the menu instead of talking to our relatives. Not only does the waitress not speak English, but at the end when we left a tip of $30 she made a dissatisfied face and said that it was not enough, I added another $20 she began to tell me that she receives a minimum wage and she will have to pay out of her own pocket, I wanted to tell her that I also receive a minimum wage but I remained silent. I said that tips are generally optional and are not asked for, but she stood and waited some more. I felt so uncomfortable and inconvenient from this whole situation, the first time I was so brazenly asked for a tip. Then my brother gave her another $20 American dollars, I asked if she was happy now and she also made an unhappy face after she received a $75 tip when we left. Mais la 2e moitiĂ© câĂ©tait trĂšs saignant, Ă la limite bleu. Il lâa mangĂ© quand mĂȘme parce que Ă ce prix lĂ , il ne voulait pas gaspiller, mais nâĂ©tait vraiment pas satisfait. Oui nous aurions pu le retourner mais on nous a souvent dit de ne jamais retourner une assiette en cuisine! Pour une assiette de ce prix, des lĂ©gumes frais plutĂŽt que congelĂ©s auraient Ă©tĂ© de mise! Et la sauce, liquide et pas trĂšs goĂ»teuse. Il a reçu son assiette sans couteau Ă steak. Il a commencĂ© Ă couper son steak avec le couteau Ă beurre car encore une fois, pas de serveuse aux alentours. Le serveur nous a encore aidĂ©. Une chance quâil Ă©tait lĂ ! En plus il Ă©tait souriant, contrairement Ă notre serveuse (Myriam je crois). Le goĂ»t du steak Ă©tait correct, sans plus et pas trĂšs tendre. Lâaccompagnement de champignons Ă©tait vraiment excellent et les crevettes Ă©taient bonnes. Notre serveuse est venue nous voir vers la fin de notre repas pour savoir si tout Ă©tait correct. Nous avions une table pour 4 alors que nous Ă©tions 2. Une chance car nous sommes restĂ©s avec les verres de cocktail vide tout le long du repas! Un homme est venu prendre la 2e table pour donner Ă un groupe quâil venait dâinstaller Ă cĂŽtĂ© de nous. Je nâai aucun problĂšme avec ça mais il y a une façon de faire! Nous le demander poliment plutĂŽt que de tasser la table sans rien dire alors quâon avait des choses sur la tables (mon cellulaire entre autre) et un verre quâon avait pas terminĂ©.
