Eskamer Aventure inc. — Attraction in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts

Originally the activity was from 6-9 pm,We were advised to come earlier, around 5pm, for the sunset view that was estimated for 7:50pm. So we did come earlier, as asked, but they wasted 1 hour preparing the gear and chit-chatting. We got a very short summary of what we were about to do as my friend was a novice in kayaking. Then once in the water, the instructor didn't keep us company as we were drifting away, not knowing what to do, and instead, was hanging out with the other experienced instructor and client. After 1 hour 30 mins, I was not feeling well, so we decided to go back to the shore, and this instructor never once came to check if I needed anything and proceeded in cleaning up everything else, leaving us alone. Once back at the Admin office, still no one checked to see if I was doing ok, and even after I was sick in the parking lot. Very disappointed in this service that seems to cater to experienced kayakers and doesn't take time to ensure guest satisfaction or even to ensure guest safety and health. Would not recommend for first timers looking for fun...

Great canyoning experience! The guide was knowledgeable of the river’s behaviour, the currents and if some spots were safe or not after the huge amount of rain we had in the days prior.

The rooftop spa and pool were very relaxing after the activity.

Equipment was clean and in good shape, absolutely no bad smell! Wet suit, slippers, helmet were included in the activity. We rented the shoes because we didn’t want our regular shoes to be soaking wet since we couldn’t have them dry properly in time for the rest of the trip.

Best adventure we’ve had so far… I’ve done canyoning in Costa Rica. white water rafting in: Pennsylvania, Victoria (BC), Costa Rica, Ottawa, Quebec, and this was the winner. The perfect balance of “danger” and adrenaline rush. The guides were badass and amazing. They were so skillful and patient that it made us all feel very safe. Jasmin and Nicola were their names. Nicola was very patient and would spend 10 minutes or more pep talking people who were very scared to jump etc… Jasmin is a fish, literally, I think he’s a dolphin...
