A lively place in the midst of the open sea. People come from all over to take in the breathtaking view of the sea, have a cocktail, and perhaps play a game of ping pong in their outdoor patio that is on the beach. The staff are friendly, bilingual, and helpful with whatever your needs may be. The accommodations are varied, from hostel dorms to a yurt, a mini chalet or camp out on the beach. At night this place comes alive with partying in the nightclub with an open concept bar, listen and rock to live bands that play here all summer long. Their accommodations do fill up fast so it's best to reserve in advance, and buy your tickets to the show ASAP. I enjoyed their Bloody Ceasers and the Gin and Tonic was very refreshing.

We stayed in one of the big cabins for $290, since we had already booked camping and just wanted to switch to indoors because it was going to rain heavily, so they didn't charge us tax which was nice.

The rooms are very pretty and fun, not the most well equipped but that's kinda to be expected in a hippy place like this. Still, for $290 I'd maybe like a bit of soap/shampoo or something.

The bar is super overpriced, I paid $16 for a double vodka maté.

Later, we were chilling on some seats with one beer each and we were asked to move off the bar patio with personal drinks. Fair request. We moved outside the ropes, and were asked to move again further, so we just went back to our cabins. Seems silly, we only had one beer and if we were at the bar I think it'd be likely we'd buy a drink after.

My friend said he played foosball against the staff later that night and had a great time. After, since he only had a $5 bill and they only take cash, he asked if there was anything he could buy for $5 and the staff just shook their heads. I can't imagine the bar couldn't make money on even $5 shots....

Overall, it seems like a place that used to be very cool, was purchased by new owners, and is now squeezing all the money they can out of things.

I'm happy to have stayed here and seen what it's all about, but probably will skip it next time and...

Alright. Who's ready to party?🍾🍺 cuz that's what this place is. A PARTY. ||We rented one of their cabin, accommodations let me tell you it was FANTASTIC. A step above the tradition camping but a step down from glamping so your in the middle. The cabin is fully equipped with beds, bedding, heat and electricity. You just need your things and your ready to go. ||We had a mini bbq we had set up outside did our own thing on our time was really great. ||This place is a party place. It's on the water (ocean/fleuve)? Can't get any closer. For someone who dosent know what this place is, it's a hostel with a varried type of accommodations from shared rooms to private cabins to yurts. They have common kitchens, bath, shower house. Pool, hot tub and A BARRRR! etc. They have shows now and then and it's fun to join. ||I can't say enough about this place. It's great just don't go thinking your going to sleep early it's noisy noise travels and they party till 4/5 am start again at 10-am. The bathrooms are far there is only one location In The main Center so depending where your staying it could be a bit of a trek especially if your on the drunk side. ||Overall. Great place to chill, hangout make new friends etc. A must go don't forget your...

So, I went for more of the Sea shack. I am not really a party animal, but I enjoyed sitting at the tiki bar with a drink or in the hammocks provided after my long day of hiking or my full day out in the water with Eskamer. We were there mostly to enjoy the site during the day and take part into outdoor activities. The site has improved a lot since my last visit. The new building with the rooftop jaccuzi is pretty nice. I did not go in though.. The bubbles floating were rather brown ish. I guess the staff cannot stand by and make sure everyone showers before going in. Eh! The tiki bar seems to have doubled in size and is well nice! The staff is so friendly and so is everyone staying at the sea shack.||||All in all, it was a really plleasant stay, with dinners on the balcony, wonderful sunsets, fun cannyonning and sea kayaking, and good bands. We slept pretty well on the beach, with earplugs. We knew what to expect. ;) any hoo, hope to return for more in a...
