Laser Tag Night 📍E-Karting & Amusement #lifestyle #music #montreal #funnight #fyp #thingstodo #exploremtl

Beautiful place, lots of activities to keep you busy for hours. Service = 0 During my birthday celebration with a group of 12 adults, it was disconcerting to be addressed by inexperienced young personnel with an air of authority. Most of us are in our 30s and over. Upon entry, you see fog and smell toxic air from the e-Karting track. This place needs a better ventilation system. The bistro not being open on Fridays* seems like a bad strategic decision. The activities are affordable per round but don't last long. Example 7D cinema is 5 minutes. Laser tag is 9 minutes which is ridiculous. However, if you book all together = group discount. The e-karting experience lasts less than 15 minutes, but you spend 90% of the time driving slowly due to people making accidents. Most of us did 2 races and it was the same thing in both races. A notable incident regarding poor service occurred during a group race booking. Despite each participant paying individually, a friend was allowed to join without payment. Mid-race, my boyfriend was halted and asked to pay for the unaccounted-for participant, a lapse in organizational oversight and professionalism. It's your responsibility to verify the names on the reservations before you let someone do a race. You don't stop people mid-race to ask them to pay for someone else. The bowling area is nice, it's $60 per alley for 55 mins. We booked 2. The system frequently skipped names, and the machinery for resetting the pins would often freeze or malfunction due to entangled ropes leading to a bit of frustration and wasted time. The restaurant experience was terrible. What frustrated me most was the treatment by both the waitress and her boss. Upon tasting the "lobster" roll, I found it tasted nothing like lobster and had a strange, rotten flavor. My two friends confirmed the unpleasant taste. When we informed the waitress and expressed our desire to cancel our orders, she became confrontational. She offered to cancel the orders but insisted on charging for the plate I hadn't eaten. I questioned the authenticity of the dish and asked if it contained real lobster, to which she admitted it was mixed with fake crab. This information was not disclosed on the menu, leaving me feeling deceived and cheated because in my mind I'm paying lobster prices to eat lobster not fake crab. Then her boss brought the second plate, and when we informed her that we had canceled the orders, she stated that they were already in the process of being made, so cancellation was not possible. Consequently, my friend felt obligated to pay for something she didn't like, want or ate. We reiterated our dissatisfaction with the taste, prompting the boss to argue with us indirectly, implying that we were lying because supposedly everyone loves these fake lobster rolls. I then informed the boss about the presence of fake crab in the dish, to which she responded that she wasn't obligated to disclose it on the menu. However, I emphasize that such information should be provided as some people could be allergic to it, and it's the morally correct thing to do. The unprofessionalism of the boss and her employee became increasingly apparent, and I requested that they stop arguing with us, telling them how it's unfair to charge clients for food they didn't eat. The boss then contradicted her employee, stating that my plate would not be charged, but my friend's would (which makes no sense). I politely informed her that my friend didn't want to remove her plate, feeling obligated due to the boss/manager's reaction and attitude. Eventually, she agreed to remove the charges for the three plates from the bill. At this point, I lost my appetite, and my birthday dinner was ruined by this encounter, there was nothing left to do but laugh at the situation and try to enjoy my friends company. Despite the disappointment, we still left a tip. Update: The management response is somewhat predictable and defensive, failing to address all concerns and lacking in apologies. My goal was not to ruin the establishment reputation. Thanks.

I have been there multiple times to go karting with my friends and everything has always been great. Yesterday we wanted to make a change and do laser tag. Sadly, some of our equipments was not working and kept disconnecting, we couldn't enjoy the game at all. For the second game, we changed our equipments & mine worked, but it didn't work for some others... We payed for 3 games, but after the second game, we went downstairs to explain what was happening. We talked to the manager and was able to let us do bowling for 1 hour instead, but sadly, once again, there were problems. The bowling pins were not always 'resetting' and we had to call the staff three times for them to reset the pins manually. Be careful before doing reservations for other than karting, because it is non-refundable... We collectively payed over 100$ for a night that wasn't as enjoyable as we thought it would.

1 star (only because 0 isn’t possible)

One of the worst experiences we’ve ever had at a family entertainment center.

A big regret: not reading the reviews beforehand

What a mistake not checking the reviews before going—huge error on our part! Now that I’ve read them, I see everyone says the same thing: That the place is run by untrained teenagers, with no real supervision, bad manners, and zero customer service. That the tracks are narrow, the karts are low-quality and have no speed, and the staff don’t know how to do their jobs and are often not even at their stations. Honestly, it’s a shame we didn’t check earlier. We would have avoided such a disappointing experience.

We booked several activities (bowling, virtual reality, and go-karting) and spent around $300. Unfortunately, the service was poor in every possible way.

Total disorganization and lack of leadership:

The entire center was disorganized and poorly managed. It was clearly run by teenagers—we didn’t see a single adult with experience, proper training, or basic customer service manners. There was no visible authority, no structure, and no one to guide either the staff or the customers.

If a business chooses to employ very young people, that’s fine—but then it’s essential to have experienced adult supervisors on-site, not just in theory, to guide, organize, and lead. Without that, the result is exactly what we experienced: a chaotic environment with no professionalism.

Untrained and unprofessional staff:

The staff seemed completely uninterested in customers. They spent their time chatting among themselves and drinking soft drinks, showing no initiative, no courtesy, and no willingness to help.

Bowling:

If you asked a question, they didn’t know what to say. They would leave, return later with a vague answer, or simply ignore you. It was clear they were not trained and didn’t feel responsible for providing good service.

Virtual Reality:

We waited 15 minutes to start even though no one was ahead of us. The staff member wasn’t busy—just standing around, doing nothing.

Go-Karting – the worst part:

They gave my son a kart that was clearly defective—far slower than the others. I pointed it out during the race, was told they’d check it later, then told again to wait after the next race… and in the end, nothing was done.

Even worse, no one explained anything to the customers. I had to personally guide three different people to their karts and explain what to do, while the staff stood around chatting and sipping drinks at the entrance. (I have photos, but I can’t post them here.)

Unacceptable behavior when we complained

When we raised concerns, they spoke rudely and defensively. I explained that my 10-year-old son had completed a six-month real karting course in another country and knows how to drive properly. Instead of listening, they implied we were just trying to get a free race, which was both insulting and unprofessional.

Even the so-called supervisor acted no differently—standing around, chatting, showing no leadership. If the supervisor behaves like that, how can the rest of the team be expected to do better?

The facilities and karts:

The karts were slow, the track was extremely narrow, and overtaking was almost impossible. They even made people pull over at a certain spot to be passed (with a blue flag), but the space was so tight that overtaking wasn’t even physically possible. It was poorly thought out and frustrating.

*Completely disorganized center *No qualified adults supervising or leading *Untrained and unmotivated staff *Faulty equipment and poor track design *Rude, unhelpful, and defensive when issues are raised

A disappointing and frustrating experience from start to finish. Absolutely not recommended. We’ve been to many karting and entertainment centers around the world, and this was by far the worst—especially because of how badly the...

MOST STINKY HELMET LINER ever smelled.

We made a reservation for 8:10pm. When we got there the lovely reception girl told us that they were running 3 races late and that it would be about 25 mins extra waiting time.. Not great but understandable for a Friday evening.... We grabbed a Pepsi and waited at their beautiful bar and booths.

When time came, we got the safety briefing in a small room where the staff gave us the MOST STINKY HELMET LINER I even smelled. That thing was worst that an old hockey bag smell. It gave me a headache and made me feel sick. I could not stand that mega STINKY smell so I had to cracked my visor so I could take a breath before I vomit.I had the worst time ever sitting in the karts before going, soaking in that overwhelming stench.

Race was fun (I love that it's on 2 levels) but too many stoppages (for safety reasons I know) but still diminished my experience.

We had a second race booked right after the first one so we were told to keep our RAUNCHY helmet and liners and stay put on the track.

The Pitt staff loaded the circuit with the next race as we were waiting instructions for our next race and to be told what Kart we would be assigned. As we are waiting and trying to figure it out... they loaded the race WITHOUT us in it then the staff made it sound like we were at fault and that we didn't show up for it. Then they told us that we lost our spot because we weren't there ( we were on the track waiting for them to communicate with eachother to tell us where to go)

It was confusing and they grabbed the manager who was nice enough but we could feel some tension and displeasure. He told us that we should have looked for our Kart numbers on the screen as I told him that we didn't even have time to make it to the screen before they loaded the next race. We argued for a bit and explained ourselves then he told us that The ONLY other opening was at 10:15 pm... more than ONE HOUR WAIT and that was it ... they could not do anything else for us. Unfortunately I had to go home before that so, 10:15 was not possible. I asked for a refund because we had to leave and was told only a gift card was possible.

It took some arguing but the manager gave us half refund of the discount price not the discount price minus the price of one race which is what was offered at first.

Great track, really nice and fun facilities with lots to do, VR, laser tag, arcades, etc

Bowling was just ok. It felt a little cheap and dirty. Most bowling balls I took were chipped. The pin machine had a really hard time replacing the pins resulting in many many unsuccessful tangled tries and lost of several minutes paid by the time (36$ + tx for...
