What a fantastic surprise! We decided to check out the Saskatchewan Museum of Natural History on Sask Day holiday, and to our delight, it was open! It was my first time visiting, but my boys were my expert guides, having been there before with their school trips. They immediately led me to the dinosaur exhibits, pointing out all the different fishes and cool rock displays. Upstairs, we found a really neat mini-version of our city, which was a huge hit! The various colors and types of rocks were pretty awesome, too. Overall, the museum may not be the biggest we've visited, but it's the perfect size to get kids excited. Every sculpture, fossils and bones are displayed with small description . It's good for school kids and family to spend some beautiful time.

There was a sign asking to give them a call if the doors were closed, which we have done, and got a response that they will send someone.
