Museum of natural sciences University of Saskatchewan is a must visit museum in saskatoon. If you have kids it's good to show them the dinosaurs skeletons, fossils and evolution charts etc. No tickets needed. It's a 45 minutes spend time museum. It depends upon your priority and interest. Public parking available. 5$ minimum . Every sculpture, fossils and bones are displayed with small description . It's good for school kids and family to spend some beautiful time. You can find Tim Hortons on the first floor also. A must visit museum for kids to experience the Dino World...

Visited Feb 2024 with the grandchildren and daughter on a Thursday afternoon. Parked in the underground parkade beneath the Agriculture bldg. Nice little walk from there. Shoutout to the lady who helped us find it, she walked with us the whole way! Our Angel for the day for sure!! Highly recommend! Free admission. Kids loved it, us big kids did too! Spent an hour looking at the dinosaurs and rocks and crystals. Oh and the amazing plants too! Tim Hortons on site which was a pleasant surprise also.

Nice Museum. Good show of the skeletal system of the creatures that roam the earth million years ago. Dinosaurs on show are not made from real remains but it does educate the public. It would be awesome if you have more things on show (like the Royal Ontario museum in Ontario). I think the museum should remove diagrams of the water cycle and other diagrams that we would learn in high school and focused more on university level material.

Free ?? Wow this was by far the best free museum I’ve ever been to to be honest I was just a little bit confused on how to get inside. I had to check multiple doors once I asked someone they showed me then I realized they were multiple signs leading to the museum entrance. Dinosaurs were so amazing. That was the first time I ever seen something so 3-D in my life. ( free parking on weekends )

Definitely not a museum you should go out of your way for, but it's free admission and hours are very accessible. There are live animals (fish, rodents, a snake), a small geology exhibit, and reproductions of fossils. The exhibits are very limited and took me about 15 minutes to go through it all. I think young kids would enjoy it however.

Very good place! However its very hard to get parking in this place, google maps showed us a wrong route so we couldn't find public parking so it resulted in getting 50$ ticket. The museum is very nice and can be a great place for taking some pictures, also don't miss the mineral exhibition at the left end, most people miss it.
