Actually 1 star for food, 5 stars for the cruise. The crew were very friendly and helpful. The dinner cruise meant we were in the lower deck but we had excellent view and enjoyed it immensely. The dinner however was very poor (the Smileys buffet and catering van parked nearby was a clue). Bread was a coconut bun which is sweet and sticky - rather a strange choice. Starter was a standard mixed salad with dressing in a spoon - it was OK. Main course looked very Grey and it was. Two thick slices of overcooked grey 'beef', chicken with some sliced mushrooms and roasted vegetables. Dessert was a slice of cinnamon swirl cake which was quite pleasant. The wine was good and the crew great - such a shame to pick such a poor catering choice. I highly recommend taking a cruise, but suggest you eat elsewhere before or after.

Took the prairie river dinner cruise. Due to Covid, if you choose the dinner cruise you are located on the lower level of the boat while the sightseeing tour is located on the upper deck. The seats are now assigned, so it matters not whether you are early and first in line to board. The meal consisted of coconut bread, a garden salad with dressing, the entree was pork medallions, chicken breast and roasted potatoes. Dessert was chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. The ambience of the dinner cruise was good, but the views would be better on the top deck. Make sure to book in advance for the dinner cruises as they book up fast.

I've been on the Prairie Lily twice and enjoyed it both times! It's fun to see the city from a different vantage point. The rude is smooth and comfortable. The ship is well kept and the staff are very nice. Get there early to get a good seat up top. Downstairs has lots of indoor seating. I was pleased that the informational recording was updated with the most current city information! Informative even for locals. Drink and snack prices are very reasonable and you can also bring your own coffee aboard. The tickets are a bit pricey even for the regular cruises without a meal. Highly recommend for tourists and locals.

Took the family on a Sunday 4pm tour. We had a great time. Our kids vary in age (12, 5, and 1.5 year old) but we all enjoyed it. The staff was very accommodating, we brought our stroller on board as we had to park a bit with our 1.5 year old. It was informative and just a great experience while in Saskatoon. I definitely recommend it for everyone. My son missed his nap by the time we went on our cruise. So we knew he will be a bit fussy. The staff was so nice and allowed us to walk around the top and bottom of ship to keep him occupied.

The ship was fantastic. They're going for a 1880's vibe on the inside low deck of the ship, but with some modern amenities like a bar, and washrooms. The upper deck looked more modern, but I enjoyed my time on the upper deck more. They split the tour in one part being on top and one part being below or vise versa. That way you can experience both decks. Discovering Saskatoon by viewing the city on the river is definitely a refreshing take on the city. Especially the downtown and university views you experience.

We did the Captain’s brunch and we HIGHLY recommend. The buffet brunch was super tasty, and the staff are exceptional. The boat is beautifully kept and clean, and the view on the tour is amazing! The tickets were 75.00 per person which I thought was super reasonable for such an activity such as an all you can eat brunch, the cleanliness of the boat, and the amazing staff! Definitely a lovely outing for people local to Saskatoon such as ourselves or those visiting Saskatoon!
