Was expecting it to be a lot more difficult, my tallest mountain thus far, last year I hiked mill hill, this year I decided to do something on the taller end of the spectrum. Steep at parts, and didn't follow the main trail, which made it harder, but my improved physical condition made this hike far easier than mill hill. Lovely views at the top

Park at the Harbourview Road parking lot and there are lots of choices for trails. An 11km loop is easy to follow and well marked. 1.Quimper Summit trail to the top of Quimper. 2. Carry on down and onto Juniper. 3. At the Main Sooke path join Kinnikinik 4. Pick up Stonecrop 1,2,3 back to car

Rocky hike, steep in places and wet but still only moderate difficulty. The view is well worth the trek up.

More elevation than most local hikes and you want to watch your not on mountain biking path, but one of the most beautiful and gratifying views in the region. Can see far and wide. And a cool little fire-spotting cabin at the top where you can sign your name. A piece of Vancouver...
