Brakandale Art Gallery Café. This place is a true haven for art and culture lovers. From the moment you walk in, you are enveloped in a cozy, bohemian atmosphere that inspires you to let your creativity run wild.

But Brakandale is more than just an art space. It is also a place where you can enjoy delicious coffee and a variety of food options that are sure to surprise you. The soup of the day is a special recommendation to regain strength and warmth on these cold days.

What really makes Brakandale stand out is its exceptional service. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel like you are among friends. Plus, the place offers a variety of cultural activities that will keep you entertained and stimulated.

In short, Brakandale Art Gallery Café is a place that will leave you wanting to come back. Don't miss the chance to...

5/5 for all the offerings at the BAG.

To start, the food is great with lots of areas to dine. The rooftop patio is top notch in the summer (it’s not windy like the majority of patios in Squamish), the gallery space on the second floor is cozy and feels private, and the main area on ground level is open and spacious. Be sure to wander!

Now onto the events. Whoever is in charge of booking is killing it! Squamish is so dang lucky to have such a welcoming and diverse range of events. The NYE party with The Wells was one of the best. This was my second time seeing them at the BAG and just like the first show, the dance floor was packed and a thorough seismic test was completed. Looking...

This is the second time I've gone to the BAG, and I've been living in the corridor for 30 years! Both times I've gone it has been to see The Wells play. They put on a phenomenal show and I would go there to see them again in a heartbeat. I love the venue because it is spacious, not overcrowded and fun to dance in. There's great space for people who kind of want to take it in from above in the balcony area and then lovely space on the mezzanine level. I haven't gone there for any other functions, but I can say that this was a great location to enjoy this wonderful group! I look forward to doing so again. Thank you for hosting a great evening...

The new BAG has come up with endless new ideas. The latest is the remodelled trailer , now serving gelato made in house! It’s nice to enjoy in the lovely garden. Above, on the outdoor patio, the live music and dining is a fav summer attraction. I can’t wait to attend the Thursday evening night markets… see you there? The previous owner is smiling as is his widow; Togwther they created the BAG and the new owners have kept up the spirit and atmosphere of the BAG and enhanced the artistic, entertainment and culinary offerings to the delight of young and old.

Adrian’s recent purchase of this absolute gem of a space is quietly revitalizing art, music, food, culture, and community in Squamish. They house some of the biggest indie artists in the country and are the venue of choice for many new weddings and outdoor brands to gather community. Bringing his hospitality CV forward, the food menu is extremely strong and will only get better! The ability to also rent one of their majestic suites for the night is something I think it the best kept secret 🤫

What a fantastic night! I had the follow up to Searching for Slhawt’ – a five minute short film was created by videographer Kieran Brownie! With the support from the Pacific Salmon Foundation (PSF) and British Columbia Salmon Restoration and Innovation Fund (BCSRIF). It shared about the development of our program and the reconnection of Skwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw / Squamish Nation to their traditional practices of harvesting ch’em’esh / herring roe in Átl’ka7tsem / Howe Sound.
