This will be a honest review of our experience. When we got there, a Sunday around 130, it was busy, not suprising. The 1st thing that happened was we were told 10 mins after having been seated that the kitchen was backed up and so they weren't taking orders to help the kitchen. We were committed to trying this place so sitting an extra 20mins to order was managble. The food was good and so worth the wait. My soft poached eggs came hard, wasn't waiting another 10 for it to be remade. At the table of 6 we did enjoy the food we respectively ordered. The other issue was when our bill came the gratuity was already added. Now this may not have been a problem IF maybe we were informed of this before hand and It was PRINTED on the menu. The waitress was very apologetic about having not told us. I said it's not your fault and the owners should be printing it on the menu! The last issue I had with this place was the bathrooms, they smelled like pee Sooooo bad even though it didn't look 'dirty' per say. One more thing, seems like all their beverages were sold out and the water/glass served to us smelled...

Crabapple Cafe was our first stop while visiting Brackendale in the Squamish area. We popped in for coffees and immediately were greeted by who we now know to be Laura! The latte and chai lattes we had were amazing and well priced, which kept us coming back the next day even though we were surrounded by other cafes and coffee places (not once did we regret it). We were informed of their drinks and appies menu on our first visit, and knew we had to make it part of our trip. The patio was busy yet they accommodated us professionally and courteously. We sampled the lemon pepper wings, garlic prawns, and Buffalo chicken bites, along with a virgin Caesar and their house white wine, as well as a mimosa! The food was exemplary, perfectly matched by the beverages. Service was prompt, and the ambiance was casual and comforting. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone travelling through or in the surrounding area. We hope to be back in your neck of the woods soon, and it will always be a terrific memory of our trip! Thank you for your kind patronage and an amazing experience!...

Such a disappointing breakfast this morning! We both ordered the eggs Benedict based on other reviews that they do a good Benny, but both dishes were terrible. The eggs were fully overcooked to the point of being hard boiled, with very little sauce and sadly nothing on either plate was warm including the potatoes. We waited for the server to check back on us so we could send both dishes back for a replacement, but she never came back to the table. All of the front of house staff just stood behind the counter chatting while our water glasses sat empty, despite the restaurant not being busy at all. The server finally came by with the check, not asking if we wanted anything else, and i let her know that the dishes were not enjoyable so she discounted 20%. A nice gesture I suppose, but seeing how i only picked at mine and left hungry it wasn't good enough to make up for the poor service and food quality.

EDIT: Much respect to the owner here for reaching out and offering an explanation and apology. Not many restaurants do that, and it's a...
