They charge you $40 with all the fees with no refunds, no timeslots to pick from just go anytime within a four hour range from open to close and no option to use it on a different night. We drove there tonight thinking it may be less busy on a Sunday night vs fri or saturday and we expected to wait a bit to get in of course but the line up of cars just to make it TO the entrance gates was approximately 5km long and basically at a standstill. We kept driving given we had a two and a four year old who we would not expect to wait multiple hours in a car just to get up to the front booth.
How do you charge this type of a fee with no refunds or exchanges and final sale with no actual time slots and have the audacity to clearly OVERSELL that many tickets and think little kids will be okay to wait in their car for likely 2hours + just to get to the entrance for a 20min light show????
It is beyond comprehension this company is run like this and we will never throw our money away again on clearly just a money grab and an organization so poorly managed and...

We went on a Monday, it wasn't too bad of a wait to get in, about 10-15 minutes to the gate. We bought online so that saved us 5 bucks, but there is no express line for those who have already purchased tickets, so you still have to wait.
The displays were pretty lame, to be honest. There is so much that can be done with modern technology to make cool light displays and they choose to make poorly animated snowmen and such using lights that look like they robbed the Griswold's lawn and spread the ornaments through the park. The tunnel of LEDs you see in the website is the highlight and by far the most advanced setup they had there. My 6 year old fell asleep during the rest and I woke him up for that part.
I'm sure you can just go for a drive around town, see better light setups and give your $40 to the London food bank.
I would like to know how much of the money goes to charity here, or does it all go in the companies pocket?
If you have time to kill, sure, but otherwise...
Read moreWe went last night and I have very mixed feelings about the experience. We arrived at 6 pm and it took an hour to get in to start the event. We couldn’t figure out why it was taking so long. Turns out not only were you taking payment on site but you were selling stuffed animals. What a waste of our time! When doing something like this perhaps there could be two lines. One for prepaid and not interested in spending any more money and then a second for those to spend time making purchases. We were disappointed to see a long stretch where no lights were working. I know this kind of thing happens but it was disappointing. I doubt we will go again. Good luck in the future and please remind drivers to turn there...
