Cleavage Axe Co — Attraction in Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality

We visited Cleavage Axe Co last night looking for a family activity to do during our ski trip with my 10yo and 13yo. The location is really easy to find, just a short hop on the free transfer shuttle from Sun Peaks Day Lodge and the online booking is super easy.

We booked an early slot and the venue was empty when we arrived so we were a bit apprehensive that there may not be much atmosphere but that was not the case at all. My kids and I had a great time here. It sounds dangerous, but it's really quite safe if you follow the rules. Pay attention to them and your kids!

Instruction at the beginning was good and the supervisor gave helpful tips along the way.

Hitting the target where you want takes practice. If it starts to feel monotonous you can add variety by switching to an underhand throw, or two overhanded at once. Also, the "killers" game was a brilliant way to get people with different skill levels to play as a team. That was fun!

We organised a staff social here (20 people) and it did not disappoint. Dustin was fantastic to work with for the organisation and the instruction given from the coaches was clear and helpful. They watched people and gave adjustment recommendations during the evening as well. For our event they created a tournament knockout style competition where everyone gets two chances to progress to ensure everyone stays included.
