South Baymouth Range Front Lighthouse — Attraction in Tehkummah Township

Very accessible off a new, raised wooden boardwalk within the Marina. Great place for lunch with ample shade and one picnic table. Rocks are easily climbable. These range markers were used to help ships approach the South Baymouth harbour and find their way in.

Unfortunately, the back range marker light now sits on private property (sigh).... which means it is not accessible and can be demolished at any time if the owner decides to get rid of it.

Why wouldn't the township keep BOTH of the range...

Despite the cold, this was an amazing experience, just to walk around and take in the sound of the water. We were here during Easter weekend, so there wasn't any foot or vehicular traffic.

The lighthouse is small and cute, and the playground side of the marina seems to be a great place for family time when the weather...
