Southbay Gallery — Attraction in Tehkummah Township

Well what can you say Brenda is outstanding. She knows and loves Manitoulin Island and it shows. She told us all the places to go see on the island , where to eat and she is just a genuine amazing person. Now unfortunately I have to say that the room was not the best . The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. Also there was a lot of insects in the room. No microwave or coffee machine and considering that this is not a B and B anymore it would have been good to have that in the room. If they change the mattress and update a bit this is a good spot to enjoy...

This place was one of if not THE most gorgeous places in the entire country. Most people don't know that in southern Ontario there's these beautiful places that we all consider a gem! Everything from the guesthouse, to the history of the south Bay mouth, to the Chi Cheemaun, an incredibly large sized ferry, to the open view of Lake Huron off the coast of the bay mouth, is all something you SHOULD experience yourself. This is the second time we’ve stayed here, passing through Manitoulin. Rooms are comfortable & well-appointed, and Brenda & Jose are very welcoming. It couldn’t be more convenient for the ferry, but also feels like you’re still in the country, rather than the tourist part of town. Definitely also check out the Gallery.
