Lower Highland Creek Park — Attraction in Toronto

I had a walk following the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail from Rouge Hill and ended up in the boundary prior East Point Park because it's getting dark. I found few people going to this trail at that time and followed them. It's a good trail. Hope to go back and continue the trail until the University of Toronto Scarborough if there is. This is quiet and partly shady along the trail. I cycled along the trail on my bike to get from upper highland creek to the waterfront trail. It was cut off to the Rouge Park which was really disappointing. I had to back track and do a relatively unsafe detour on Lawrence Ave. The bridge to Rouge was blocked off but it looked like there was nothing wrong with it and based on other peoples’ comments, I guess it’s been like that for a while. One of the best places I’ve gone long distance walking all summer. The scenery was absolutely stunning, especially walking along the lake. However my favourite part was probably how friendly the people were. Everyone said hello and was social. As someone who prefers going on long walks/hikes alone this place is paradise.
