I had a walk following the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail from Rouge Hill and ended up in the boundary prior East Point Park because it's getting dark. I found few people going to this trail at that time and followed them. It's a good trail. Hope to go back and continue the trail until the University of Toronto Scarborough if there is. I climbed the way to Lawrence Avenue East and Beechgrove Drive and waited for TTC bus to go home. Washroom ❎️ Cycling ✅️ Benches ✅️ Parking ❎️ TTC bus...

This is quiet and partly shady along the trail. I cycled along the trail on my bike to get from upper highland creek to the waterfront trail. It was cut off to the Rouge Park which was really disappointing. I had to back track and do a relatively unsafe detour on Lawrence Ave. The bridge to Rouge was blocked off but it looked like there was nothing wrong with it and based on other peoples’ comments, I guess it’s been like that for a while. In other years, that has been a...

One of the best places I’ve gone long distance walking all summer. The scenery was absolutely stunning, especially walking along the lake. However my favourite part was probably how friendly the people were. Everyone said hello and was social. As someone who prefers going on long walks/hikes alone this place is paradise. You can completely get away and meditate sitting on the rocks, listening to the calming sounds...

The air, after a rain, was fresh. The clouds were light in the east and dark in the west. Planed to go west from the Port Union waterfront Park to the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail/East Point Park Bird Sanctuary, but the trail was closed from the halfway point to the bridge. Went from the East Point Park Bird Sanctuary parking lot to Lawrence through the Lower Highland Creek Park and back. The walk was delightful.
