Fully enclosed with two double gated entrances and sand, Sir Casimir has a great little dog park! It has several benches, a water fountain outside the park (subject to the city water schedule) and the sand is easy to clean off of playful pups. The park is far enough away from the bike and pedestrian paths so as to not interfere with them and close to the westernmost parking lot.
Although the park is completely enclosed, the fence is a bit low and can be easily jumped by a determined pooch. Conveniently placed garbage and recycling containers help keep the park clean. Most park regulars are polite and respectful and the walkers have great, friendly, packs.

Cycle path n walk path (separated for pleasure n safety for all), on the lake front so there will be some relief from humid days. Life guard is on duty at posted times. It's evolved with nurtured spaces for various species of butterflies or plants etc. Picnic and BBQ area alike. Some food vendors spread along the length of the park. It's a great place of refuge during summer break. They could use a better lighting system for night time... Great walk for couples or families to be tyre n see night skies clearly, watch some night life around the beach front. But is not always well lit so may be so.e...
Read moreI really enjoyed my time at this park. I happen to be driving downtown for an appointment, I was running early so I decided to have a little bit of downtime. It's nice Queen there are people riding their bikes jogging some people sitting by the lake having a little picnic or a little alone time if you know what I mean. Although it's right on Lakeshore Boulevard so you do hear the cars and trucks blaring Buy on unless you have earbuds on you cannot drown out the sound. The path runs East and West which is perfect for a nice bike ride or just a really long walk. If you're ever in Toronto check it out if you live here you're very fortunate cuz it's only a half hour drive pretty much anywhere...
