Tried the iced matcha but there was so much milk that you couldn’t really taste the matcha. Went back a second time and figured I would try some coffee and a croissant since most of the reviews rave about these — the croissant was okay, but again the iced latte had way too much milk. I wanted to love the place but I think there are better options in the area for a latte! Update to the business’s reply: my review isn’t “irrelevant” just because I used a picture with older branding — I would have left the same review if I had wrote this the day-of. Also based on the reply, I would never come back to this business solely on that rude reply.

Quite easily the best coffee in Toronto! Taste , texture, and temperature all on point. The last time I felt the mark on all three measures was in Dubai. This is a small little nook run by a focused and skilled batista who knows what he's doing. Coffee is always consistent paired with excellent welcoming service. I highly recommend Paul's Coffee! No joke when I says it's the best I've had in all of Toronto and I've tried Coffee in a lot of places around the city!

Delicious Iced Latte and Elderberry Hibiscus Iced Tea. Stopping here on a hot day to get a cold drink while on the beachfront is PERFECT. Elsa, our barrista, is so great. Delicious pastries. Yummy pain au chocolate. Hot coffees and teas and hot chocolate also perfect by the lakeside.

I parked outside this cafĂ© fully intending to buy a coffee after meeting up a friend nearby. I parked at 1:45 PM on a Saturday—fully intending to go in and make a purchase. Instead, I was aggressively confronted by the barista, who ran out to yell at me about parking, despite my clear communication that I would be coming in right after meeting my friend. What makes matters worse is that the shop closes at 2 PM on Saturday so it’s not even a case where I was blocking say a delivery from taking place.

To make matters worse, they also left a note on my car. The hostility was completely uncalled for, especially given the timing and the fact that I was being upfront and respectful. I genuinely wanted to support the business, but this experience left a very sour taste.

Customer service matters, and I hope this feedback is...

I got to experience Pauls Coffee for the first time in 2024 when my father and brother visited me from England. They have since then, mentioned that Paul's Coffee was the best they've tasted here in Canada. I'm not over exaggerating, you can tell when a coffee tastes good, by the passion the owner/barista has for their job. The owner makes the best coffee every time I visit during my lunch breaks. I cannot complain at all! I also love that he sells local bakery produce and advertises interesting events around coffee! Inspires me to take on a...
