Loved it and the hike was awesome. A short 1 km loop but it's a moderate hike. The lookout was nice but that view window needs some trimming for a better view otherwise branches and leaves obscuring the beauty. If hiking with kids, be very careful as it has a few cliffs on the way. Overall a good experience and a great workout. You may enter from the exit end and reach the lookout faster, easier, but what's the point then right. Might as well do the loop the right way and enjoy a nice workout. I noticed some graffiti on the benches, please...

Cute and short trail (took me 20 mins walking instead of the estimated 1.5 hours on the Algonquin information brochure). Really easy trail with a bit of uphill to see a pretty lookout of the lake. There’s also two benches at the top where the lookout is as well. It’s really close to the canoe lake portage store so I went there after canoeing. There’s a small parking lot if you want to drive there instead of walking there. One downside is that there’s no washroom but you can just go to the canoe lake portage...

It was a beautiful day to do hardwood Lookout Trail. This Trail is closed on days when the trail may be too busy. The second time we came back it was open. It was worth the wait. It was magnificent to walk the trail in the lookout was spectacular. The colours in Algonquin Park we're getting better everyday. Today we were there it wasn't full colour but it was still gorgeous. Like many of the trails in Algonquin Park this is one you don't want to miss. Highly recommended. Enjoy...
