Dusty Greenwell’s rolling green slopes provide a perfect place for taking in the fascinating views of the Second Narrows Bridge, industrial yards, and passing ships. With North Vancouver and the North Shore Mountains rising majestically from Burrard Inlet, this small park is a truly wonderful place to sit and take in some of Vancouver’s most distinctive features. The park was named for popular community activist and Hastings Community Centre volunteer Dusty Greenwell.

Overlooking the various industrial activities along the rail tracks, there are several benches facing the mountains with views of the Ironworkers bridge. On a hot day you’ll find a choice of sun and shade. The park runs along Wall Street where there are numerous other small green spaces with benches and shade. If no benches are free at Dusty Greenwell, just keep walking west. You’re likely to find a nice spot to rest.

Awesome 🤩 little park to go day or night bring a couple chairs 🪑 or even a blanket sit and talk with someone, have a picnic 🧺 or just sit and count the boats 🛶 🛥 🚤 that go by even at night lol I got up to 13 boats 🛶 🛥 🚤 in an hour, not boats parked on the side lol the boats going by while you watch, so 13 in an hour I got one day…. My favourite little Dusty park 😊💁🏽‍♀️☺️👍🏽👍🏽😊
