Prospect Point offers a breathtaking view that truly showcases the beauty of nature. Located in close proximity to Stanley Park, this attraction provides visitors with a stunning vista that is hard to match. One of the best aspects of Prospect Point is that it is entirely free of cost, allowing everyone to enjoy its magnificent sights.
The view from Prospect Point is simply awe-inspiring. From this vantage point, visitors are treated to panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains, forests, and the sparkling waters of Vancouver. Whether you visit during the day or in the evening, the scenery is always captivating and offers a tranquil escape from the bustling city life.
Another advantage of Prospect Point is its proximity to Stanley Park. As one of Vancouver's most beloved natural spaces, Stanley Park is easily accessible from Prospect Point, allowing visitors to extend their outdoor experience. Taking a stroll along the park's trails or cycling through its scenic routes is the perfect complement to a visit to Prospect Point.
One minor drawback to keep in mind is the parking situation at Prospect Point. While the attraction itself is free, the parking fees can be quite pricey. This might be a deterrent for some visitors who are looking for more affordable options. However, there are alternative transportation methods available, such as public transit or cycling, which can help mitigate...

You get a decent view of the Point Atkinson Lighthouse in the distance and the Prospect Point Lighthouse down below when you walk out onto the bridge which is a short walk. It's a big bridge! Lots of access to trails from here and there are a lot of bike racks. The viewpoint is high up from the seawall so it's a hike to get here if you're exploring the trails. Only the bathrooms were open when I visited, everything else was boarded up. There were no signs so not sure if they were closed permanently or just for the season. Google Maps shows the restaurant is temporarily closed so maybe this is just a seasonal thing? As a side note, I got a parking ticket 15 minutes after I paid for parking but it was super easy to appeal online and was very painless. I was told that the handheld devices used by the parking attendants aren't always able to upload new payments. The office easily confirmed that I had paid so the ticket was dismissed just days later. Keep copies of your...
