Pike Lake Main Beach — Attraction in Vanscoy No. 345

Planned a day trip to pike lake on fairly short notice. I'm so glad we did. There was tons of parking and for as many people that were there it didn't at any time feel crowded at all. The pool area was nice and the slide was pretty good. The beach was totally fine and the weeds weren't a problem (a few pieces but never too much). Thankfully the mosquitos were non-existent as that would've been a huge bummer. The playground was pretty good too, the little one had lots of fun. We're already planning to come back next...

Charmed by the beauty and calmness of Pike Lake provincial park. Relatively a small place, however, has all the benefits that a park should have. A number of activities like boating, canoeing, and kayaking are available at affordable prices. Is a wonderful place for having a family picnic and gathering. I don’t usually give reviews but whoever is saying this lake is good, hasn’t been to any other lakes and yes it shows. . . . It’s not “well maintained”, it’s not maintained at all. bathrooms are disgusting, lakes are gross and filled with leeches, and the lake is almost always crowded yet small.
