Edit So, the owner reached out to me and apologized profusely for our bad experience the other day. Like I mentioned before the owners are nice people. He agreed that with this equipment issue we should have received some sort of accommodation. Really all I wanted was an additional 10 minutes or so of playtime. He also promised that we receive a combination for a future game. Thanks to Danny for making this right. ..........

what a disappointing experience we had here today. we've been to Lazer Maze several times before and had a positive experience, the owners are nice people. however today, with a school PA day, i took some young kids today to get in a game on their day off and h e owners were not there, instead another man was staffing the venue. no other customers were there, so the five of us starting playing a game. however, a short while into the game a couple of the kids laser guns were malfunctioning, which I didn't find out until later. the lone staff person there finally came into the arena to reset her gun. but well into the game, the guns stopped working again for the two youngest kids. as the only adult, I didn't know until near the end of our time. I brought them back to the office, just then our time ran out. the two young kids didn't get to really shoot for a good portion of the game so they didn't have alot of fun.

the attendant essentially said it was a problem that the kids were running and or banging their guns into their vests. I said that everyone was running a little and that the other kids didn't seem to have any problems. further, we have been to this location several times before and never had this equipment issue.

this man who worked there today should have been more accommodating, but instead he suggested that it was the kids responsibility as they were "causing" the equipment issues by not following the rules. I said that we were all running and we never had issues when we've been there before. I was asking for accommodation, hoping for additional time and or a credit for lost play for the kids. there were no other customers there at all, we were the only five people there. instead of doing the right thing, making the youngest kids' experience a positive one, he maintained firm that there was nothing that could be done because the kids were essentially "damaging" the vests which is the reason why they didn't get to shoot much.

needless to say, I was disappointed. we will not be back. there's another Lazer Tag venue in Vaughn which we've been to before and will go back there next time we want to play.

considering there was no one else there, and that we considered having a birthday party previously at Lazer maze, we will not risk that the staff person who's actually there will be friendly and understanding when there are equipment issues. I'm sure it would have been made right if the owners were there, but there should be a consistent experience regardless of whomever is working there. considering this is a place where many kids attend, and that we paid regular price, we were...

By far the worst birthday party we had for our 9 year old. The Bubble gives much more value and it ain't even cheap!. The party only includes 2 games which lasts only 10 mins each. Kids were so sad because they mix the games with professional players where kids will get followed and bullied by the 'regulars'. Not only do I have to bring my own food for this price, they do not let you in early to setup! They said they would but they don't. The venue is more run down that it looks. I rushed through paying for this because it was the only place that accepted bookings . There's a reason why people don't book parties here. The video games are extremely out dated. Kids were very bored because of the minimal game time you get. Please compare prices with other venue before booking as I did not do my home work. This place is only acceptable if you have teens that are relatively good at lazer tag. Smaller kids or less experienced don't come here.

Edit: This is not a fake review, booking was under husbands name (email confirmation attached) It's an opinion based on my experience. The fact you corrected me on the 15 mins game time is interesting. Once kids go into the room to receive the agressive lecture on rules etc that eats some of the play time. Your employees have no patience for kids, similar to your response to my feedback. My point about the food is not that I want to be restricted, it's the fact I pay so much to get no food included. It's a hassle to bring your own food to a small kid birthday. Just because you have marshals and you allowed mixed players since opening day does not negate the fact that small kids were targeted by big kids. Your venue lacks convenience (bringing own food only), kindness (mean staff to kids), value (overcharging for what is given and outdated venue and video games that are not included). We had our youngest birthday here about 2 weeks ago on Sept 14 and I must say this is an amazing place. I've hosted many parties with my children at different venues and this place by far has the BEST SERVICE/EXPERIENCE EVER. Their staff is there to greet you when you come in. They check which party you are in and immediately grabbed our cake and any supplies we brought in. On top the hostess helped set up the decorations and seating for the party room. They coordinated when the children does their games, then you get to eat and then another game and then cake. All while there are few other parties going on. The seamless transition was so smooth and made it enjoyable for the parents of the birthday kid. The staff who helped the children set up equipment and play the games were friendly and supportive. When one of the younger children was scared, they allowed a parent to walk with them in the shooting area.

The management team are super friendly and helpful and just want to create the best experience for your group ever. Payment options were a breeze. They have a small food shop if you didn't bring enough food or want extra snacks. The party packages has unlimited drinks and coffee. The party rooms were renovated during the pandemic and they did the rooms super fun, they were glow in the dark splatter painted walls, that lighted up when we sang the song. The mini arcade area is great for the kids to wait while it's their turn. Like I said as a parent, it was amazing to be able to enjoy the event versus having to do work at the party. They're party packages are reasonable and they work with you. The set up to the place is just easy to navigate and they have enough staff to help with the big day.
