Cabin Lake is an absolute gem and totally worth the hike! The water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming on a warm day. The trail to the lake takes about an hour going up, and usually less than an hour coming back down. It’s a good workout but not overly difficult, and the reward at the top is amazing.
Keep in mind that this is bear country — it’s not unusual to see one along the way, so definitely carry bear spray and make some noise while hiking. Good shoes, water, and maybe a light snack are recommended.

But then again it’s perched on the top of Cypress Mountain. Views are amazing and everyone was so incredibly friendly. Definitely should be apart of...
