Yew Lake — Attraction in West Vancouver

This is a nice short walk up at Cypress Mountain. Appropriate for 5 and under. There is no elevation gain and it takes about 30 minutes with a couple stops.

If you’re looking to take young kids up to the mountain it’s perfect. If you’re looking for a mountain hike, you won’t find it here.

I would suggest stopping at the lookout on the drive up as well since you won’t get a view point...

Nice little trail. Very easy. Not at all challenging. I did the trail counter clockwise and when I got to Yew Lake I saw a bear on the trail less than 100m away. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Honestly the best little trail and location we have experienced in West Van area. The drive up is awesome. Lots of parking. The trail is immaculate and so well maintained.
